Pokota's voice is so strong and firm, it's one of the reasons why I love listening to his covers, along with Dasoku and Mi-chan, all of whom have that manliness in their voice makes their songs one of kind.
Not sure if I read it wrong or you just made some mistakes, but Pokota is a real person, not a Vocaloid xD And the original is not a Gakupo song, but rather a Gackt song (Gackt is Gakupo's voice provider though). Just in case you didn't know :3
Actually this is originally a Gakupo song. I'm not sure who the person was that submitted it was, but this song won second place in a contest where the winning song would be covered by Gackt (Episode.0 won first place). Gackt liked Paranoid Doll so much that he decided to cover it as well. :3 I realize now that I did make a mistake by calling Pokota a Vocaloid though.XD I hadn't done any research yet when I called him one so I'd been under the mistaken belief that he was a really awesome and super realistic sounding Vocaloid. XD Pokota makes me love this song even more!
I read about the contest about two years ago when I listened to Paranoid Doll for the first time -I can't remember what web site it was that I read about it on. Stainless Moon was the first song by Gakupo I heard about two years ago and he's been my fav 'liod ever since ;3 Gackt, Gakupo and Pokota are all amazing
