I would like to make it clear that this video is intended for entertainment purposes and is not intended to cause harm or pity those with disabilities, but rather to shed light on Warrior Cat characters who suffer from disabilities whether it be physical or a neurological disabilities such as epilepsy which is used in the video. I do understand this video may come off the wrong way to some but that is NOT my intention whatsoever. As someone who suffers from disabilities, I see this as a topic to shed light on even if it is through showing fictional characters. I do understand I did not add every character such as Lilywhisker or Jayfeather because I wanted to focus more on characters who cannot perform due to their disabilities. While Lilywhisker couldn't perform due to hers, I personally just did not want to add her. I apologize if not every character you wanted is added. There are so many and I may even consider making part 2. Once again, I wanted the topic of disabilities to be covered here because I want to avoid any comments believing this video is intended to pity or harm those who have disabilities. I don't want anyone to feel attacked so I made this comment to state that. If you have any questions, please reply to this comment. I'm open to here any opinions on this matter as well. Jayfeather, he lived with a vlind disability, forcing him to work a job he didnt want. He couldnt become a warrior due to his disability, Cinderpelt had the same. They both delt with grief.
Ciderpelt didn’t mind being a medicine cat once asked, at first she was scared about being a medicine cat and never being a warrior.

Cinderella came back as Cinderheart and was Lionblaze’s mate
Jayfeather was destined to be a medicine cat
goes the same for half of the medicine cats
Its sad that 2 of the most known cats on the list, CinderPelt and BrightHeart, are from the same litter and both have a disability
The books never talked about them being sisters and never gave them meaningful interactions. I wish the books showed more of them together. They both went through a lot of pain with their disability, Cinder wasn't able to become a warrior and was pretty much forced to become a med cat and Bright had to learn a whole new way to fight because she had one eye.
I wish we had seen more of a bond between them, speaking that they went through much more than their brothers. I've seen maps of Cinder and Bright having a friendship and confiding in each out, i just wish we could have seen it in the books too

Yeah I hate how they used Snowkit as a plot device to make Speckletail retire. Plus, they completely forgot about Snow's littermate Mistlekit!
Snowkit would never be a warrior. Not being able to hear could put Snowkit in danger. He wouldn't be able to hear a fox or enemy warrior sneaking up on him. He wouldn't be able to hear the yowl of his leader telling him to retreat. Also, a medicine cat wouldn't work cause he wouldn't be able to hear what herbs are good or bad

I love the idea of disabled cats, especially Cinderpelt and Brightheart! It changed their personality so much so quickly! They were told they were useless and they should retire, but they both found their place in the Clan!

I wouldn't say the disabilities are sad. Just the circumstances surrounding them.
I mean i would say its pretty sad being crushed by a tree and never walking normally again, breaking your jaw, etc.
Yeah, ultimately it's usually the lack of support/new treatment of their character that makes it sad. Thankfully it's gotten much better since the earlier arcs though. (In terms of being treated well and being supported by family members.)

Who is oddfoot? Never heard of him. You forgot finleap. He's missing a tail. Stonepelt had to retire early due to the battle where moonflower died. Whiskernose retired early. And pouncetail retired early due to something. Mistystar was so old she probably had dementia. Ravenpaw had cancer. Leopardstar somehow had diepeatis. Shadowsight I think is deaf in one ear?
@@aliviahouk7018 thank-you for the corrections for some of the characters I missed, if your wondering Oddfoot was he a minor (kinda background) character in Code of The Clans that is mentioned at the gathering where the idea of checking borders every day was proposed, as for Mistystar from some research she’s never mentioned with any memory loss though Bluestar and Goosefeather have been confirmed to have dementia later in life so it could be hereditary but I do get it she was pretty old. Though about Ravenpaw having cancer I’m unsure if I should count it, as cancer is commonly referred to a disease not a disability compared to something such as diabetes that is counted as one as the person has to maintain different aspects of their life carefully, also I’m unsure if Shadowsight is partially deaf though it is mentioned that he can’t move one of his ears from an injury.
And yes, loosing tail for a cat IS a disability, because with the tail, the cat is loosing their main balance support. Yea, they can still walk and run, but it gets more difficult for them to jump and fall on their paws. It is like not counting a cat getting it's claws cut out as a disability.
@@darkacademialoverank you for pointing that out, I was aware that a loss of a tail caused balance issues but I’ve also been told by my peers not to count it as an disability due to how some cats are naturally born with stubby tails (though from my knowledge I shouldn’t really worry about adding tail injuries)

Here’s my wcue oc’s disabilities:
Fall’Paw: She got ran over by monster and had to become a med cat apprentice.
Autumn’Heart: She was almost ran over by a monster but got blinded.
Broken’Jaw: He broke his jaw as he got pushed by a dog and hit his jaw on the stepping stones.
Toad’Star: He was forced to retire because of his epilepsy and seizures which ended up killing him.
Golden’Fade: she was crushed by a tree, paralyzing her legs but survived.
Personally, from a person with a disability, I wouldn’t call it sad, more of healed and come back stronger. Even though the situation after the healing of being forced to retire may be sad, but it’s just the perspective of seeing them still living (some) and still living there life. I think it’s really beautiful that they can still do things yet with there disabilities, so in my opinion I wouldn’t really call it ‘sad’ but re growth and become a new person with there own strategy of living, compared to a cat with no disabilities, they have found a way to live despite their disabilities and that’s amazing and truly shows how strong and amazing they are.

While I cannot speak for the entire disabled community, most of us do not appreciate being seen as 'pitiful', I'm aware this video was not intended to be harmful! But I just wanted to make this clear!

That's not what the title's intentions were. Some people take the title the wrong way. That's why I left the comment. If they still take it the wrong way, I can't do anything about that but I've spoken my part and my views.

I'm aware she is paralyzed but I didn't want to add every paralyzed character as I intended only to do 10. I personally don't like Lilywhisker because of the theory she killed Badgerfang but Thanks for your comment!☺️

No that doesn't count. I don't think he had a disability. He was just small. If I'm not mistaken, he may of been a Scottish fold which is a small cat breed

Sorry if someone has already said this but i thought longtail lost his sight due to fireheart when he attacked him losing his collar. i remember reading that in the frist book. Maybe i missed a part. if i did please tell me and what book it was in so i can reread and see that i missed it but i feel pretty confindent i am right
Longtail lost his sight due to a rabbit clawing out his eyes and it happened in Firestar's Quest. The only Injury Longtail got when Fireheart attacked him in the first book was a nicked ear. And here is the statement from the official wiki: "In Firestar's Quest, Fernpaw becomes a warrior with the name of Ferncloud, and Longtail becomes the mentor to Sootpaw. However, Longtail is blinded while hunting a rabbit that turned on him and scratched his eyes, rendering him unable to hunt or fight properly"

Who are the first two? Also, Shadowsight didn’t have a disability.
He is considered to have epilepsy by a lot of the fandom and he is considered disabled due to his seizures. Also Wildfur was mentioned when ThunderClan was trying to find a cure to Briarlight's paralysis. Petalfur was in Battle of the Clans under Flystar's leadership. She had to step down as deputy due to her epilepsy. She was an ancient SkyClan Warrior
Petalfall was also in cloudstar's book

I think it might be better to take this video down and maybe reupload it with a title like “disabled warrior cats” or “disability in warrior cats.”
I’m sure your intent was not to harm, but as others have probably explained disabilities aren’t inherently tragic. It’s only when society refuses to accommodate or help disabled people that it’s bad.

Petalfall was in Cloudstar's Journey which I read recently and it is said she retired early due to uncontrollable seizures. She was Flystar's deputy. She also appears in Battles of the Clans. Wildfur is mentioned after Briarlight's accident. Littlecloud tells Jayfeather he had dealt with an injury like Briarlight's which was Wildfur. While Wildfur never appeared in any books he is said to have had his legs crushed and a broken backbone by a collapsing burrow. He ended up dying by a cough that produced too much fluid in his lungs. Wildfur was mentored by Cedarheart. But that's all we know about him.

I don't take any credit from these artworks. I got all of these off Google. Most of them linked to Pinterest links but I couldn't find the artist's credit there. While I don't always credit by name, I state that I do not profit or take any form of credit from other's work and specifically use then for entertainment purposes and if an artist contacts me, I gladly take their work down

I don't think that having a scar counts as a disability so Brightheart shouldn't really be here. She didn't have any problems after she got her scar and she became a warrior unlike Jayfeather and Cinderpelt
She lost an eye, I’m pretty sure
Brightheart lost an eye and half of her right ear, so yes, she is half blind, and it is stated in The Darkest Hour and before it, that Cloudtail had to help Brightheart reteach herself how to fight due to this. Jayfeather also complains about this when he gets Brightheart for his warrior mentor.
Most of these are injuries-
I know. But it made them disabled, most of them anyways
