Well there they are in the local woolworths lunchhall, or maybe arista records cafeteria...i woulda been about 9 or 10 watching them...they were about 15 years older, my eyes riveted on those weird but kool dudes....my parents would have been telling me to not look over there. Later after I picked up a guitar, i would copy every lick and nuance of this song, emulating Jim or robbie. Or ray...later i became a hippie...those were awesome times.

The Ramones cover also rocks! Joey's voice really works well with this song. Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist, also worked with the Ramones, which is why the Ramones' cover has that distinct keyboard sound in it. Two of my all time favourite bands: The Doors and The Ramones!
The Ramones make me a nervous wreck to the point where I want to be sedated and have shock treatments; not to say that they don't take good pictures for posters that one might like to put on their wall and look at. Sorry I don't know Portuguese but it sounds very beautiful for poetry and song. Take care.
