What is the best thread? I just received my Juki and I am totally in awe. I only had 40weight thread to practice but am thinking it needs thicker thread.
I replaced my motor with a variable speed motor.... the stock motor is simply too fast and I am waiting to see this guy sew his hand based on his hand placement.
Try with the motor speed all the way down then push down on the pedal all the way slowly turn up the speed on the motor until u feel comfortable with the speed
U can, I didn't want to hastle with it so I bought it assembled. If u assemble it yourself u save yourself $200. Gold star tool is a very good company to shop with.
Do your research first but I can tell u Gold star tool are about their word. They even threw in some free stuff since I spent some money with them. I bought a juki 1181 dir auto upholstery and furniture upholstery but u can use it on clothes too just switch the stitch count cuz too big of a stitch will tear the clothes. What u buying the machine for, what type of work?
Great service!!! I bought a juki 1181 and they were very helpful and very courteous. I will shop with David again...

Could you show me how to take out and replace the bobbin? I am having trouble getting it to come out. Thank you
Does the oil drip on the fabric or floor?
no, why?
GoldStarTool my husband was curious and I told him I would ask. Thank you.
Depends on how much oiling you do especially by the needle area it will drip if you overoil by the needle ...

G DaGod I buy it for stitching leather bags, I need a “needle feed sewing machine “ like juki 1541 or Sailrite fabricator” instead of juki 1181n
G DaGod I did research it, that’s why I Changed my mind to consider buy juki 1541s
