This amazing museum holds thousands of pieces of original Faberge jewelry and art pieces, including nine of the famous imperial eggs created for the Czar and his family.
Hi Kathy.. I appreciate the feedback. This was recorded 4 years ago and on this re-release I had to use the prior sound, not up to my usual standards. I hope you'll try some of my other videos and give me feedback on them as well.
Thanks for getting back -- as I mentioned in my original note, it's the narrator. The voice is barely audible and I turned the volume up as high as I could.
Thanks for getting back to me on this. I can't change it once published. You're right on that. On subsequent videos I worked harder on reducing the music levels. I hope you'll try one of the newer ones and let me know if you feel it's better.
I really enjoyed this but someone else should really do the narration and not for the sou d quality like ive read in other comments cause that on mine was fine its liseni g to him try to read!!
Thank you for the feedback Misty. You're right, others have criticized the sound quality. I can't fix it once published, but hopefully if you listen to other of my videos you'll find I've done a better job.
@@edithcross6010 It's terrible! Of course, all wars are terrible, but the human rights abuses here are extraordinary. There's another Philip Levin who makes videos based in Ukraine that are excellent. You might want to watch some of his.
Omg! Is that really all you had to say about this video?!something that has absolutely nothing to do with anything about the video?! If you wanna hear about the war watch the news clips on you tube there's sure plenty of them!!
@Dr... I'm sorry too...its a beautiful museum filled with wonderful works of art. A subject I've long been fascinated with... Didn't mean to be so harsh...just frustrated.
@@lisaharrod8386 I'm so glad we were able to tour when we did. Now, of course, it's very dangerous to visit Russia. I have a video of the Hermitage and national museums, sort of mixed them up.
Saw these at the V&A in London when the exhibition was on. The craftsmanship is sublime.
It's an amazing museum, if you get the chance to see the building you'll find incredible architecture and decorations.
Stunning collection of beauty.
It is SO amazing, the opulence and expense. Amazing historical relics.
Oh, it would be wonderful to see that place in person. Too bad I'll never be able to afford it.
Russian's economy is not doing well ... the dollar goes quite far, especially on the black market.
Wow! Just wow! Enjoyed the art and the history.
Thanks. It's a true treasure. Sadly, not available for Americans to visit nowadays.
This is a fabulous production 🔥
I can't tell you often enough how much I appreciate your reliable commentaries. Thanks again, Scully.
What a wonderful collection, thank you for sharing it.
On another note, I had a hard time with the voice over, I could barely hear.

Even poor Peter Faberge was not russian.
He was born in St. Petersburg, so he was sort of Russian, no?
❤
Thank you for watching. I'm glad you liked it. Perhaps when politics allows, you can visit the museum yourself.
I'd love to be able to hear the narrator! Please corrective volume.....
Thank you for the constructive criticism. Is it the music or the narration that's an issue, or something else?

Tell us the story of the 300 animals killed at the zoo in Ukraine when the russians blew up the dam. They were priceless.
Hi Edith. I avoid broadcasting political views, although if I did I would certainly condemn Russia's actions in this war.

Easter egg
Very funny! These certainly are VERY fancy Easter eggs.
Such Beauty and Decadence
One can only imagine the power of being absolute rulers with the ability to revel in immense wealth.
@@DoctorsDreams I agree. Well said!
It's he sound is awful! Couldn't finish...
so sorry. it seems to sound fine to some people and not good to others. Not sure why that is.
