RCS only works on Google Messages (and Samsung) because while Google pushed Apple to adopt it, they actually won't even let third party apps like Textra use it. Which is really shitty. I think that RCS on Android and iPhone is a good thing. I think this because it will make texting between Apple and Android phones easier. It will make it easier by having proper emojis on Apple's side for reactions, knowing when an Android user is texting and has read your message. (Same back on the Android side). This is also good because higher resolution pictures & videos can be sent in full quality. (Sometimes, depending on what the iPhone is thinking; do I do RCS or SMS 😂).
