I got super emotional watching the scenes leading up to Jackson leaving to preschool. I'm just so jealous of him for being able to look back at these videos to see his beautiful mother. He will absolutely cherish these💕💕💕
Ok Jackson is actually the cutest thing ever and he's gonna have a major glow up even though he won't need one but he's gonna have one anyways and he's gonna be the most gorgeous human being ever. i'm calling it now!!!

You should get a magnetic bulletin board for either the mud room or the laundry room (or even downstairs in the playroom!) and you can put all your magnets and kids projects on it!

I was 4 and in kindergarten. I wet my pants because we were singing a really long song about a bear and didn't feel I could get up to use the restroom. I was so humiliated.

I am not sure if y'all be interested but down where I live we paint rocks and people pick them up and rehide them. Some paint sayings and then they'll pose on social media that they have been found. I just thought with Jackson's love of rocks. He and Cal would enjoy doing this around your area
The first 5 minutes of this vlog is by far the BEST content you've put out. 100%. That quality, quiet, intimate time makes me want to watch MORE!! It honestly reminded me of the old old vlogs from the beginning. Things have changed a bit but so have your lives so :) Just wanted you to know how much I loved the beginning of the vlog!

Ellie, you should go to the craft store and get the clear glass ornaments. You can put the shells in them and label them the place where you got them. The use them to decorate your tree each year!!

A good option for something to hang the kids school projects/mementos is to take a cookie sheet and hang on the wall and use magnets...would be a cute kitchen decoration.....or a sheet of metal framed in wood and do the same thing with cute magnets to hang the kids projects

Dan & Kelly oh ya the mountain area in ogden, uintah area of Utah is still burning it's taken six houses I mean the structures are gone they might have to evacuate more neighborhoods tonight if the wind shifts I live in the area but not by there but it's all hazy from the smoke

awww I love that he has a music teacher that wants to invest in him already! Music and arts is so important to us and it makes me sad to see how many school are using music and arts as one of the first things to cut when it comes budget time. Have you ever thought about getting Jackson into some type of music lesson? I took piano my whole life and I attribute those lessons to what fostered my creative side.

Jackson is such a handsome little boy. My mom has been a first grade teacher for 23 years. I admire her so much. A lot of my friends had her as a teacher and they love her it makes me so proud.

my brother and his wife are going to have a girl on Jan 29th 2018 they had a hard time because they lost a baby at 29 weeks almost 2 years ago so pray that this little one makes it to us all healthy and big

Thank you for acknowledging Hurricane Harvey. My house was flooded and we are having a hard time because our landlord is saying the only way we can stay is if we do all the work. Which is okay but, when your husband works 12 hour days then has to come back and work all night, it's just been so hard. We lost a lot and we have been down but hearing your prayers and thoughts really brightened up today. Thank you. Thumbs UP for Pre School!!!

Thank u for mentioning Harvey. I live in Houston TX . Luckily my home didn't get flooded. But it was very sad to see everyone's belongings on the streets and in front yards. My parents and older brothers having been in the mormon helping hands. I wish I can help. And just today I heard about the fires. I am worried about family in Utah, down in the valley.

We lost almost everything in the wrath of Harvey! Both are cars are totaled, house is gutted, and we are now living in an extended stay. We had to be rescued from our attic. It is numbing going through this! So I am enjoying some normalcy and watching you! Congrats to Jackson on a successful first day!❤️🤗
