    The last part was the best. Dianas way of saying "i love you" and then Liza saying i love you too. I had tears in my eyes. A total aaaaaaaaaaw Moment.

    Also I love how Diana didn't hesitate to defend Liza after what Pauline said. That part almost touched me more than this scene.

    Always knew it would be a kick to the gut when Diana found out, because of all of them she has the most insight into why. Stellar scene for both.

    The emotional toll this took on Diana is apparent. She's not wearing one of her signature necklaces.

    This scene made so much of everything worth it. It was done so well. Diane was the one I was always worried most about and her kind and thoughtful acceptance made me love the show more. It showed a adult side of the lie, before it was always a immature and youthful retaliation and black mail and she is the only one who didn’t immaturely hold onto the lie, and she acknowledged her love for Liza. While Liza apologized and took ownership. This is the type of relationship I want to see. This is the kind of relationship women need to see (normally women are pitted against one another). This time it was No petty immature soap opera drama. People and women recovering from any drama and hostility while respecting each-other and acknowledging a bigger relationship is so much better for the story instead of stretching out the lie and the repercussions of it for a whole season now we can continue to move forward with better narratives and stories. This season proves this show is a work of art and written exceptionally well while Miriam Shor is a icon.

      this moment was the pinacle of the show, it's a shame that then pandemic happened and they rushed season 7 and it became a mess. Younger's core element was its writing, and in the last season it was sloppy

    • @aftereverett
      @aftereverett 2 года назад +1

      @@belhougoldenwind they did the best they could with what they had. I always knew it would end the way it did. Otherwise it wouldn’t have been “younger” it would have been “divorced” lol she was always meant to end up with Josh.
      It’s how it started it’s why she was “younger” so it’s how it had to end.

    • @belhougoldenwind
      @belhougoldenwind 2 года назад +3

      @@aftereverett oh don't get me twisted i agree completely about her being with Josh at the end! I was always rooting for them, i like the very last scene of the show for that reason, it's just the execution of it that seemed rushed. I would have made her break up with Charles earlier in the season to give her space to get to have fun with Josh as friends and then find their way back to each other. Also i wanted her to go with Kelsey in the new publishing house, her staying at Empirical makes no sense and looks like a regression. Also Diana should have been here during the last season, you could really feel her absence.

      On some level she's glad that Liza is around her age but on another level she's more upset that she was the last to know. She's also upset that Liza ended up with Charles. Everybody love Charles and has wanted him since he came on the scene

      It’s part of the magic haha, but it’s fine. Look at Jlo, she could portrait a 30 years old woman and we would believe her.

    • @robinr4697
      @robinr4697 4 года назад +16

      @@pabletecornio Yeah but still, Sutton Foster does look a bit younger than her age but you can't say she's a 20 something year old.
      Jlo would pass better because she basically has no line on her face and then again maybe not as a 25 year old young woman

    • @belhougoldenwind
      @belhougoldenwind 4 года назад +15

      It's because you underestimate what confidence could do in that situation, the fact is that she is dating a 20 something at the beginning of the show, she is friend with young people and seeking an assistant job, so people assume that she is 26. Even more so i think she has a really youthful attitude and with the right hair and clothes she looks young,like 28 or something

    Her face is young looking. And when she dressed like a 26 yr old, i thought, maybe 30tys. A lot of shows, especially young adults playing teenagers, are in there 20tys. Gilmore Girls, Lane was actually 28 🤫., Show, Smallville, all of them were way older also.
