hey, i have a dress i bought from a thrift store and i want to add sequins to the bodice. what's the best way to do this? hand sewing, or attaching sequin fabric somehow? i'm a beginner so i have no clue, any help would be greatly appreciated 💕
Hi there 👋🏻, I guess it all depends on how much sequins you would like to add to the bodice. Hand sewing would be an answer for you. But if you want to cover whole bodice, that could take you really long time. Sewing on sequinned fabric....I would deconstruct bodice but that's also lots of work. I mean it is hard to say because I can't see your dress and I don't know your exact vision . But if it is to add couple of sequins then hand sewing it is. I hope I could be helpful☺. There isn’t any waist band, it’s just two pattern pieces 😉
