it's a good thing that the Gospel is presented by a couple of people. in practices, we all don't tell the same story of a particular event or series of events, EVEN IF we were all present throughout the 'proceedings'. thus, a bit here, a bit there (all inspired by the Spirit of God) come together to make more meaning.

This is simply a veiled form of what common sense family has been doing. Let's all have intimate relationships with the Holy Spirit to understand the truth of the Bible. The end is near and many of such false teachers will appear. Let's be weary and work out our salvation with fear and trembling for the coming of the righteous judge is sooner than we think.

in his presentation, Dr. Luke mentions that (go and read for yourself, please) it was shepherds who spread the news of Christ's birth. that presentation, though, doesn't negate 'Uncle' Mathew's Magi story.

'Uncle' Mathew makes mention of the Magi - who spotted, and followed the Child's star ... they came to worship him. there was no mention of 3 Magi.
however, there are traditions about their names. Casper, Melchior, and Balthazar were the names of the Magi. that is why it is often said THE THREE WISE MEN.

1) The concept of "the days of the son of man" is quite different from the "day of the son of man (in his day)". Luke 17:22-24. One of the days of the son of man refers contextually to his time on earth. While in His day refers to His second advent.
2) The people running to Judea isn't about the kingdom coming as described by the lady reverend. It is referring to the invasion of the Roman soldiers into Jerusalem to destroy it including the temple. This event took place on earth physically.
