Literally, within the first 5 seconds, I subscribed. It was visually appealing from the start, and I could feel the atmosphere of the story immediately. I look forward to watching to the end and seeing much more from you! Thank you for sharing!
Reading about how you didn’t go to school and barely had money for this, really inspires me. These shots are fucking amazing. You’ve got the heart and talent and the colors oh my god. The lighting. You’ve literally given me hope to continue pursuing this
this was a really, really good short film in terms of videography, everything about it was so well thought and it perfectly did fit on the feelings and mood it was trying to portray. The only things that left me a bit out were the pace of the story and the acting of the main character, as the first one was a little confusing, seemed like it was leading to no point at times and it was weird trying to connect things up (when they show the previous owners of the house) not because the nature of it was complicated, just a little bit confusing, something that I know you can hugely develop as you're constantly creating content. Regarding the starring character's acting (MaKenzie) it was overall good, it's just that sometimes her reactions and how she delivered lines when talking to their parents was no natural at all, but despite from that, a decent acting that has already so much potential. I kept repeating some shots cause they were so beautiful shot, this was a stunning short film to watch :")
The cinematography and grading in this are next level. You can tell you've really done your homework and study some of the best of our time, and the previous. Excited to see where this artform takes you.
I LOVED this!! One of the best horror shorts I’ve seen! It felt very Mike Flanagan which is amazing as he is one of my favourite directors. The cinematography, writing, acting, directing etc. in this is incredible, especially for a lower budget film
@@ElijahAnthonyF just wanted to ask you how much it costs to shoot a film like this roughly speaking. I’m wanting to get into shooting films, and was just curious about this aspect. I was also wondering how many films you shot roughly before you made the invisible man. Really enjoy your work, wishing you the best!
Bummer!!!! I wanted to watch this so bad!! Got started and then realized there weren't any closed captioning for the dialog....I am severely deaf but wear hearing aids. Wondering why some shorty films don't have them. Is it expensive to add the closed captioning? Who puts it in the finished production? Is it the director, producer, the sound engineer, the actors? Who can have the cc on the film? Since I am missing 85-90 percent of what they are saying.........
Some of these shots gave off a Wes Anderson vibe which is dope, great work and what an amazing story
I agree!
hi nick leboeuf
Amazing. Cinematography award was well-deserved and so is any other praise this may receive. Incredible job.

Cinematography was okay, but you could've used better actors. Not bad for a kid just starting out.
