Hi Les, that's one of the most interesting Stirling engine designs I've seen and it runs very well. Superbly built. Thanks for showing it, cheers Paul

Hi Les, another beautiful engine! I love the Stirlings, in fact they are what got me into model engine building to begin with. have you ever thought about a Manson engine? I love the Manson engines because of the unique sound that each has. I’ve heard some at engine shows the sound just like a little motorcycle. i’ve never attempted to build one but hope to someday. I have no doubt with your talent you could build a beautiful one. Thanks for sharing Les ,I really enjoy your videos and love seeing your new engines.

I am not familiar with the Manson engine. I will have to research it. I'm always looking for something new and interesting. Thanks for the comment and information.

So the relation between heat displacement stroke volume and work cylinder stroke volume is about 4 to 1 then, or am I missing something?
Very beautiful model though. Thanks for show it to us.

Yes, that is what I found. I don't know if this holds true for higher temperatures, pressurizing, etc. It probably does not. But it at least gives me a starting point the next time I make a stirling engine.

how does that flame heating that test tube make that engine run can you explain that?
