- This is a weird one. Mainly focused on trying to make you tingle through anticipatory means. It's an unusual trigger, hard to pull off, but highly effective if you can manage. This is my second time trying. I hope it does something for you. Love you.

I feel like we all knew what asmr is and we were enjoying it, until discovering his channel. Feels like this made me realize there wasn't any reel asmr before

Frank the Binaural microphone is pretty good, hes the creator of the sr3d microphone. He deleted his channel but there are re-uploaded videos.
if i had to explain why patrick's asmr works so well is because it's less programmed and more natural, while also being experimental. He finds the triggers WHILE filming the video, not before, it's a new experience for him and us and i think that's the special part, cause it unintentionally takes us back to when we first felt asmr and didnt know what it was.
I applaud the fact that you're trying to embrace the weirdness that comes along with anticipatory ASMR. Keep at it. Good stuff.👍

I understand we're always harder on ourselves than others but I promise you people don't say all these nice things for no reason ❤ with countless asmr accounts, yours is the most raw, soothing and entertaining one I've found. Don´t know if its just me but i can see a difference where visual anticicipatory Asmr soothes me while the vocal one gives me an anxious feeling

your channel is such a gem! but don‘t feel pressured i think what makes this channel really unique is that you‘re willing to experiment and that you‘re very authentic (idk if this is the right word) in the way you do asmr. really love it

15:00 I have watched a lot of anticipatory ASMR as it's one of my favourite triggers, and I don't think I've ever seen someone half-tap with only 2 or 3 fingers like that. Usually it's just hovering above the item (just as you did) and then suddenly tapping really fast. I really liked seeing this new take on anticipatory tapping.

for anticipatory stuff i think whispering makes it a lot easier because you can kind of use your breath to link the silence while we're waiting for the word to come out. you have to set the expectation before you make us anticipate it also! like... you know the thing in ASMR with like, repeating words and stuff? try that! coaster... coooaster.... coooo- and then you'd complete it after a pause.

Alot of ASMR stars have like one "thing" like a mastery. Dr. T has unintellagble down along with tech sounds. SoftlyGaloshes Asmr has perfect repeating asmr. And you are the first master of anticipatory asmr I've ever seen. You've given me my first tingles ever after 7 years of asmr use. Ive never really felt them till now. have been searching for good anticipatory videos and this one is one of the best i found so far. it intrigued me that you tried to "emulate" Kelly Belly. Love her content but sometimes her 'releases' of anticipations are too hectic for my taste. I enjoy how calmly you do it

Love your stuff patrick! The only bit of feedback i would like to give is that the stuttering kinda gives me anxiety in a weird way lol almost like watching someone hold their breath. I think it would be effective if, for example, if you were tapping on something, stop and then get real close to it. Just barely touch it, air tap on it, make it seem like you are touching the energy of the object, take it away, do it again and then... tap tap tap away. Please only take this as constructive bc i really do love your work and i hope you are feeling better now!

imo one way this could be better is varying more the amount of time/number of times you’re putting off the trigger, if that makes sense - like making it more unpredictable at which point you’re going to finish a given action
