Mine did the same thing first ride. I'm not worried about it, but the paint shouldn't wear off so quickly. All my dirt bikes eventually do that, and it's never been a problem. Even my 1993 XR250L is still fine with paint worn off sides of frame for nearly 3 decades. It's chromoly steel and does not rust easily.
Honda.... Glad itsnt "chinese" hahaha ;) Well, that its a know "issue" and you have loads of cover options to protect that area. Either that, or you keep "polishing" the metal :D Cheers m8
