Landscape Architecture and Olmsted Legacy

The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) is charged with maintaining the Capitol Campus grounds in line with the principles of the original landscape architects, the Olmsted Brothers.
As part of the Legislative Campus Modernization (LCM) project to replace and renovate aging buildings on a portion of the West Capitol Campus in Olympia, Washington, DES works closely with landscape architects to ensure new landscaping supports the Olmsted vision.
