Great to see him back. I think Brentford are a great club giving him the chance to come back because there weren't many clubs willing to ho near him. I just hope that if he continues with his form and a massive club come in, he repays Brentford with full on loyalty. If it was me, I would never leave the club after the faith they have shown.
Without Eriksen Today: Concede 2 Goals & Have 0 Shots With Eriksen Today: Concede 0 Goals & Have 6 Shots Considering it's his first game since the accident he did well and he can't be any worse than how Da Silva & Jensen have been performing lately.
Like all fans, as a Newcastle fan delighted Ericksen has returned to full time football. Pleased with result, and only surprised it wasn't a lot more. How on earth can Merson say that wasn't a red card challenge ? Whether it was meant or not, that was a potential crippling challenge.
It was a good debut for Christian Eriksen. But I think that they should have started Toney, Eriksen and Canos. 🤷♂It was good that since Eriksen got on the pitch the other players had more morale and they played better.
Ok, apart from Josh giving away the points, there's something I don't understand. Why didn't TF start with Toney and Eriksen. I realise Toney is coming back from missing three matches with an injury, and Eriksen isn't 100% up to speed, but they could have come on from the start to give team moral a boost. If they tired, they could have been replaced at half time. The bonus is that Josh would have started on the bench. I do wonder what goes TF's head sometimes with team selection. Why is Jensen still starting? I really can't see the Bees winning a single game unless something changes.

glad eriksen made his comeback and so happy for him but that was a joke of a performance, this team currently has no idea of what role their playing and still the same old players being selected despite being in bad form
I hope you guys stay up. Your second half to the season has been very poor and that is why you are now in the relegation battle. Let’s be honest you need Ivan Toney to start scoring some goals I don’t think he’s scored many this season?
After scoring a bucketload in the first division, then a bucketload in the Championship, maybe people expected too much of him. He was never going to score a lot in the Prem. But having said that, I've been disappointed by his dearth of goals. He seems to want to set up other players, rather than get himself into goal-scoring positions.
I will be very sad if I win 1200 quid, put a bet on Brentford to go down as a consolation price if it should happen. I can already withdraw my bet for double the money (100) .... but I won´t, I actually usually don´t bet, it´s the second time, the first was for Trump to win his second election, fortunately I lost my money.
selling their soul to the arab emirates, the beginning of the end, shame on this club and league, every newcastle win is a defeat for football and human rights.
No use having someone as extraordinary as Erikssen with a narrow-minded, self-absorbed, and egotistic manager as Frank. You can thank him already for the relegation.
