Your teaching skills are brilliant I took up Spanish when I retired 1 year ago and recently I have became frustrated at trying to learn grammar but you explain it so good I am now getting to understand the grammar your videos are fantastic 🇬🇧UK
¡Hola! I'm so glad the video helped you understand the verb "ser"! It's a very important verb in Spanish, so getting a good grasp of it is essential. Keep practicing and using "ser" in different contexts, and you'll master it in no time! If you have any questions or want to explore more uses of "ser," feel free to ask. I'm always happy to help. 😊
¡Muchas gracias! 😊 I'm so glad you found the explanation helpful! It can be tricky to get the hang of "ser" at first, but with clear explanations and examples, it becomes much easier to understand. I try to break down complex grammar concepts into bite-sized pieces, so learners can grasp them step by step. It's wonderful to hear that my approach is working for you! Keep up the great work with your Spanish learning, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions along the way. I'm always happy to help! ❤️
I’m happy I found your channel when it was just getting started early on in my language learning journey. Many other Spanish education channels on RUclips have been around so long that it’s hard to find a good starting point with their videos. It’s great that they have so much free content for our use, but it gets a bit overwhelming sifting through it all. So your channel being a few months old is great for me personally because everything feels organized and I can easily keep up. And those subjects that I’m already familiar are great for refreshing my knowledge.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so happy to hear you are learning Spanish and you find the videos useful! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I hope you have a fabulous day!
You're right, the English phrase "to be" can be a bit vague on its own. It needs more context to make sense. In Spanish, we have two verbs for "to be": ser and estar. My video focuses on ser, which is used for more permanent or essential qualities, like: Identity: Soy Catalina. (I am Catalina.) Origin: Soy de Colombia. (I am from Colombia.) Personality: Soy amable. (I am kind.) Occupation: Soy profesora. (I am a teacher.) So, "ser" helps us describe what something or someone is. I have another video all about estar, which is used for more temporary states or conditions, like location, mood, and health. I hope this helps clear up any confusion about "ser (to be) to be what?" 😉
I really love the way you teach.
I wish I can find someone who speak well in Spanish, so that I can learn to make conversation in Spanish.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
