this is so great!! artists complain so frequently about the difficulty of drawing hands that at this point it's become a bit of a meme in the art community but personally i find feet to be much harder. your simple steps and guideline tricks have helped me to get a better understanding of feet at different angles
I truly love the feeling when my friend gathers around when I draw, guessing this and that on the unfinished drawing as I progress. Makes me feel like I’m a magician. Thanks for the video.
You make it look so simple, I thank You for showing how to make "feet" I've always have trouble visualizing as I use to I am 77 and trying to get back my drawing skills THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE ON "RUclips" jim chapeau aka "bert"
@@bettychamberlain1446 I didn't I cried for 2 days because all I wanted to draw something for my sister but when I drawn the feet I watched like 5 tutorials including this one and it didn't help I'm never touching a sketch book again
I have watched more videos than I can count. YOU are by far the easiest for me to follow ... THANK YOU.. this came very easy to me after listening to you.
I could feel how much you love drawing. Inspired me to start my Feet project after some anxiety. I suddenly remembered why I want to be an artist. I love it as much as you. Thank you.
There are many longer and shorter versions, I have seen. But this one beats all. Because it makes drawing look very very simple. I wish there were more lessons like this. My salutes!
The Heart of an Artist. This is one of those times that sneak up on you and shower you with as much delight as it does surprise. A few months ago I decided to prepare (insulate) myself during the chilly Massachusetts months ahead by returning to my self-taught drawing practice. Foraging through RUclips the other evening I had the good fortune to come upon your channel. I have binged for hours now on the feast of information and inspiration you provide! I am a jazz musician/singer and, for me, Tone is everything. May I say that the warm inviting inclusive sound of your voice has provided a wonderful feeling of what might be possible if I only apply the same Love I have for the study of Music, to Drawing. Your patience instantly reminded me of a teacher I studied with in grad school whose guidance significantly changed my artistic life. It also prepared me for a lifetime of teaching music as well. All I can say is Thank you for all that you do and for possessing one of those loving creative hearts that embraces everything and everyone. For me, finding your channel is like striking creative gold! I look forward to spending the months ahead learning and laughing my way to becoming a student of Drawing!
A PROFOUND thank you. I'm not a trained drawer-- or a good one. But I have to churn out a lot of drawings for my work. Having a 10 minute resource to teach me how to draw adequate pictures fast is INCREDIBLY VALUABLE. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I appreciate the way you simplified the drawings of feet from different angles. Though I studied the anatomy of bones and muscles of feet, I was struggling to draw feet in simple form. Thanks a lot.
I love this. I had a very hard time drawing feet, made them look so weird but with your help I made it look almost normal from the first try. Thank you very much, also, your accent and voice are so soothing and made me feel so much better, like I was doing everything good even though it looked weird at first. I love the way you explain also, so simple and on point. Thank you for teaching us these things.
Leonardo, you are such a talented artist and a calm and relaxing teacher. Congratulations for your talent, dedication and passion. Your videos are all helpful and your joy inspires me to be a better artist.
U are the best have seen so far , nothing give me more joy than seeing u draw , that alone gave me the assurance that if u can do it I can do it too. other tutorials do a lot of talking than drawing forgetting that art is an act , it should be practical not theoretical.
for me the complex parts of Human anatomy that is hard to draw are the Head w face, Hands and Feet it took me a while to find your video but it definitely give me great many Ideas thanks!
I haven’t been drawing in a long time, Leonardo. I used to watch your videos back when I had time to do so. I forgot how inspiring they were. Now I want to break out my pencil and start sketching again
This is one of the best tutorials on drawing the foot I have ever seen. You have a gift for breaking things down to their simplest parts so drawing becomes a pleasure. Thanks for this wonderful video!
I've watched a bunch of videos to help me improve and this video is one of the best. You clarify and simplify for a quick method. I actually like drawing along with you! Thank you!
I have been drawing for years and feet always give me headaches. You make it seem so simple, are positive, and are very clear in your instruction and examples. Thank you!
I have really needed advise on how to draw feet properly and now as I started a new project it was even more urgent than before. This video indeed did help me with that and now it is a lot easier to draw feet for me. Thanks a lot for your help I appreciate it :D
Oh how wonderful, I happened upon this. What a delightful teacher, and just what I needed. I shall not do my canvas painting today, I shall practise doing what you have taught. Thank you so much for this. A huge cheers from Australia.
I look forward to Tuesdays for your tips. Today you made feet look so easy. I will replay this later and try my hand at drawing feet. Thank you so much.
Thank you, you are the first to show a simplified method of drawing feet after trying your way I found it super easy to follow and for the first time I was successful in drawing a realistic foot.
i love how you used real paper, many artists use digital and its annoying bc they can select and move things and im like "dang i already drew it the way you did before you moved it"
It was an excellent tutorial. I watched and followed it three times. I can see my drawings improving ! I definitely saved this video. I am looking forward to your other tutorials.
It is sooooo nice to watch this, however could you make this slow? So we could draw at the same time with you. The explanation is perfect and your voice is so encouraging!!! I love this video!

Me too I tried hands it's structure is very simple ... and easy to imagine in 3D but feet they are complicated compared to hands
l real this artists
I'm the same bro, people don't believe me when I say this is harder, but...
I can’t draw hands when they are cupped or grabbing something XD Otherwise hands are fine. Feet I have zero experience and cannot draw them at all 😂
Artists always put shoes on the feet which makes them easier to draw but there are a few who admitted that feet are the hardest
