Could you maybe use packing tape or those no heat laminate pages over the can labels to make them shiny before cutting them out and putting them on? It's a slightly extra step but might be worth trying!

Hi Toya hope u a good day I have an idea for ur dolls u get ur hot glue gun and a barbie with the hot glue gun u make nails for barbie u take a barbie hands and and put hot glue gun on the barbie's nails then cut a bit of the nails and paint it with the nail polish hope u like the idea☺️

If you do want to use tape, I recommend taping the paper and then cutting it. I use tape to laminate stickers, from those cheap sticker machines and this is a good way to get a glossy finish from the tape without wrinkles.

Another reuse method for the plastic: First, find the center of the item. wearing a mask in a well ventilated area, take a drill bit and carefully screw a hole in the top. Using an strong adhesive of your choice, place an eyepin in the hole. Attach a jumpring if desired. Boom, you can now make it into a keychain, charm for a jewelry piece, etc!

Spray the paper with aqua net hair spray or artist spray for pencil drawings.... It keeps the pencil from smearing and it will keep the ink jet from bleeding....

I think it would make the creases at the top of the can more obvious, but maybe it won't. I don't own any mini brands, so I can't try it.

Try printing the labels on full sheet sticker paper.
I liked this. I do really love when you find ways to work in 1:12 scale, too, along with your usual 1:6 scale.
Maybe you could do something similar with the bottles of soda and put new labels on them and make them bottles of sparkling water since they’re clear?

I think if you put tape on the dust cover it would look even better because a lot of dust covers are shiny.

My glossy paper was too thick to get it smoothed out 😅 but that could be operator error , but you might have better luck
