19:16 I feel you. The dilemma of going to a whole other country and wondering whether to try the authentic regional foods or the special fast food items. I went to Japan 4 years ago on a two week trip and I ended up not trying the Japanese-exclusive McDonalds items. I think that was a mistake, it's worth trying just to see what the difference is at the very least
If it matters to anyone, they say they proudly use "Japanese chicken". So for that it might be worth trying. Most other fast food chains use chicken from Brazil.
Plenty of mash and gravy in Australia. Coleslaw. Original recipe and hot and spicy. That’s it. You get so much more. Oh and a bread roll. Once upon a time they did bbq chicken with roast potatoes and peas and gravy. Miss that one.
The honey maple was for the biscuit 😂. We had mashed potatoes & gravy here (in Japan) years ago ,but it wasn’t as good as in the states plus it wasn’t popular so they got rid of it.
I recently joined your channel. 🎉I’m really impressed with your food reviews. I enjoy watching you take a bite and chew with describing in detail what your experiencing. Yeah, it’s a shame that Korea and Japan kfc don’t serve mash potatoes but to be honest its an American thing so what needs to be served in Asia is rice and gravy. Rice being a staple in Asia. ❤
yo ben before you even mentioned it, I was thinking that it'd be dope if you just planned your visit to japan around things you'd only find in Japan. Most of us have had "japanese style" foods like sushi and ramen, but many of us can only dream of trying a unique dish from a japanese take on a US fastfood chain. heck I will just speak for all of us and request some more 7-11 videos cause i'm sure there's a ton of stuff you had to pass on the first time(s). Anywhats, this was just a long and roundabout way of saying I appreciate this type of video.
Wafu is pronounced with a japanese f which can be confused with an h, for the japanese f you dont use your teeth for the sound you just blow through your lips for like a windy-F sound (or something like that not sure)
Hey Ben, what's it like in Japan as a Korean? Can they tell you're Korean? When I visit non-tourist areas in other European countries everyone seems to assume I'm from there lol
Interesting. the hole in the biscuit is perfect for a slab of butter =) with the lack of ketchup packets, I make sure to keep a bottle of ketchup at home The Wafu sounds good "It consists of a sweet and sour flavored deep-fried panko covered chicken fillet, freshly shredded cabbage and mayonnaise, between a whole wheat bun"
I love your content but, bro you need to go out and get the food more often. App food will always suck compared to going to the restaurant.Especially in Japan, plus Japan is awesome and should be experienced first hand. Just my honest opinion from someone who lived there.
Japanese has that weird letter/sound that's in between an F and a H? So, when they go to use the English alphabet, they're stuck with having to decide between using an F or the H.
"I don't know if the foods been sitting out" - lol uhh i hate to break it to you but looking at that spread, yes the food has been sitting out because you unpacked it and layed it out..
bro got the waifu burger💀
he just like me fr
T . T
That part killed me. Like bruh, come on. 😂😂😂😂
This shit made me wheeze laugh when I saw it 😂
So funny
I love how this dude doesn’t just take a bite, he literally tries to eat the entire thing in one bite

He’s somehow a very messy but efficient and clean eater, those bites are satisfying ngl

That was hilarious! I laughed out loud! 🤣😁😜
Chicken in general in Japan was amazing, the KFC did not disappoint!
Why did I read that as children ☹️
If it matters to anyone, they say they proudly use "Japanese chicken". So for that it might be worth trying. Most other fast food chains use chicken from Brazil.

Would be cool to see Ben's reaction on healthy traditional Japanese food (like zukemono/soba/miso/natto/oden etc) 💀
Yeah Ben needs to do this😂
in his last video he said when he’s not filming he’s eating traditional japanese foods. i think he should still film that tho
Your appetite is amazing!! 😂 I ❤ how much you enjoy food. True foodie.
In Northern Ireland.. we don't have potatoes and gravy either at KFC... and we are a country that lives of potatoes.. I wish they would though

There is a KFC buffet in Japan you should try it
KFC in Canada has downgraded over the years used to secretly like kfc more than McDonald.
It’s the same in England. KFC used to be good, unfortunately not now
You do you! We will still watch!
There’s no mac and cheese or gravy in KFC in the UK either. I like those stuff but we don’t have that in our KFC…
@@tokingmadd i actually can’t stand KFC, would eat morleys any day though 🙈🙈🙈
If mc donalds in Bali had a slow cooked crispy pork meat burger in their menu then indeed you missed on that one for sure. If not then you're good.
Surprised you went fries over wedges. Their wedges were my favorite thing as a kid.
Kfc no longer has wedges sadly
That waifu burger looking crazy~

You may not be tasting the special herbs and spices but I will bet you're not getting slammed with the salt overload
Man I miss when McDonald’s had snack wraps
hope you go back to bali for the MCD!
Honey is great on skinny, limp fries if you're eating fried chicken but the maple honey syrup must be for the biscuit.
Them non seasoned fries is gonna make me cry
I hear tartare sauce is popular with fried chicken in Japan
Hello Ben Deen. KFC!!! 😊
He literally attacks the food. And I don't mind it at all.
Is that a "To Wong Foo" burger!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Interesting. the hole in the biscuit is perfect for a slab of butter =)
with the lack of ketchup packets, I make sure to keep a bottle of ketchup at home
The Wafu sounds good
"It consists of a sweet and sour flavored deep-fried panko covered chicken fillet, freshly shredded cabbage and mayonnaise, between a whole wheat bun"

Bro visits Japan and proceeds to order in all his food…
When you were in America, you should of took advantage of going to KFC when you had the chance, then you would of had your sides.
I love your content but, bro you need to go out and get the food more often. App food will always suck compared to going to the restaurant.Especially in Japan, plus Japan is awesome and should be experienced first hand. Just my honest opinion from someone who lived there.

Who wanted to see someone going up or down on those stairs in the background? 😁

This guy eats like he’s got somewhere to be😂
Bro forgot he was actually asian for a while there lmao
Japanese has that weird letter/sound that's in between an F and a H? So, when they go to use the English alphabet, they're stuck with having to decide between using an F or the H.
Kfc chicken pit pies are mighty fine.

Honey maple is for the biskit. That's why it has a hole in it.😂
"I don't know if the foods been sitting out" - lol uhh i hate to break it to you but looking at that spread, yes the food has been sitting out because you unpacked it and layed it out..
Wtf part of the chicken was that bone-in chicken. I’ve never finished a thigh with just that little bone left ?
Lookin better then the US
What the hell is a KFC biscuit? Never heard of them before in my life
