Em is in his own lane, forget 2018, Em dropped some of the dopest verses ever in his catalog on this album. MGK’s rebuttal isn’t anywhere near this track. No comparison
MGK's response wasn't necessarily bad. He has some okay bars in there, but nothing like what we heard on Not Alike. Em's gonna fucken body him lyrically if he comes out with another diss. It's been awhile since we've heard Em spit some career ending level shit. Hope we see him come out with one.

They're mocking Migos. The pre-chorus (Braindead, eye drops Pain meds, cyclops Daybed, iPod...) literally has the same flow as the chorus in "Bad and Boujee" (Raindrop, drop top, Smokin' on cookie in the hotbox ). He's naming random objects that have no correlation to each other, just like in Migos songs. Also, to me, the end of the chorus (We are not alike, there's not a likeness on the mic) also sounds a lot like how Migos emphasizes certain works in the final line of their choruses in a sing-song way.

Em took a sh*tty mumble trap beat and shredded it lyrically. He did this for two reasons:
1) He wanted to mock the mumble rap sh*t and show how lazy and weak it is most of the time. Anyone can do it. "Brain dead, eye drops..."
2) He wanted to prove that people would listen to it and think it was fire, even though he was making fun of it. Most people won't realize that he is sh*tting on them because they are listening, trying to figure out why he did a mumble trap beat and murdered it. :D
MGK has balls for going back at EM but that's the thing! EM wants to eat these rappers up for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Nobody else will attack EM.. now that MGK made the new diss track towards EM it's going to be a career ending for MGK.. let's wait and see what kinda heat Slim shady bring back to the table.. the real slim shady will stand up soon.

The problem in the first place is that this generation stopped listening and started hearing. This song has double and triple sense- crazy substance. Listen to this song multiple times and you’ll be like “ohh shit, that’s what he meant.” EM beast man.
