What does an ID do to tell a cop someones Intentions .?They seem to want the ID like a junkie needs his Drug.
I agree it gives them a seared conscious to Judge and to hate to find fault and thus callous their hearts to a deeper degree of pride and hate.
This obsession with ID has to stop
It's due to pressure to fully check all the boxes on a report. I've heard police say this several times on auditor videos "I have to ID everyone involved if I'm called out to a situation" and then they escalate. Police observe a citizen engaged in a constitutionally protected activity on a call and the person has video evidence they haven't committed any crime, but police still escalate to demand an ID when the person refuses. Police are evaluated and promoted in part based on their completion of paperwork "correctly.". There is no part of any police evaluation and promotion based on "respecting constitutional rights." That is not easily quantifiable compared to number of stops, citations, arrests, and "timely and accurate completion of paperwork."
It’s for prior convictions major part. Shut up that what you do from the beginning.

🤢 ~ This is what I think is wrong with attorneys and our court system. Attorneys should offer legal procedural advice, not “prepping“ which is just an acceptable word for manipulative coaching.
But what he said @19:35 is, quite frankly, disgusting. Prosecutors and civil attorneys don’t tell the defendants what they’re gonna ask and give them every chance to not lie. You’re supposed to find out what kind of person the defendant is, not give them every chance to only tell the truth when there’s no other avenue to get out of trouble. That’s why people don’t trust internal affairs and they hate the police more than they should.
But that said, thanks for the video. I want you to be honest on your videos, don’t just tell us to sanitized version. So I’m happy that the truth was told here, but the truth is disgusting.
P.S. and by the way, someone who actually wants to go after bad cops will not be looked after by the Union later on. But if you’re basically a second defense attorney for the Police, then the Union wall scratch your back all day long afterwards.

Desculation is never used, we find cops like to escalate in order to make an arrest.

He was resting on a park bench when you felt the need to rend peace & tranquility from him. No platitudes will mend the damage you've done. "De- escalation" is six cops shooting one civilian in the back instead of one on one face to face murder.

Use of force always looks bad (and legal), its just the new society gets their feelings hurt when they don’t get what they want, everyone is entitled now.
Try to have their perspective. When the police you work with get their feelings hurt what do they do? They abuse..... I've seen it and reported it at least 20 times now.
@@jakedode wow, if you interact with police 20 times and its always bad, something is wrong. Im from the ghetto grew up in poverty and only had police interaction maybe 5 times and I knew I should not be doing what I was doing.

I along with the auditors and commentators of police interactions would say the ATM method doesn't align with the definition of de-escalation: "reduction of the intensity of a conflict or potentially violent situation." ATM method is only good for giving the chance to comply prior to making a LAWFUL arrest. All the videos show it being misused to escalate by claiming obstruction to make an arrest (entrapment) when only an objection has been made (houston v hill) or no violence/crime has occured and not to actually prevent a violent situation. The civil rights lawyer has talked about case law on passive resistance as well with it not rising to the level of obstruction. I forget the case though.
