Thats an interesting take, for me, you mentioned that we are the smartest creatures on the earth, yes we are. We have a sense of consciousness and awareness of the whole universe. However because of that, it is our natural instinct to feel liks there is more after death. Because we can comprehend what death is, it naturally scares is to not exist so we make stuff up to fill in that gap of not knowing. Thats my belief anyway. How are you doing btw?
In My opinion the fact we are living our lives in a time so far ahead of our ancestors is proof that something like reincarnation must take place when people die as long as there is a new life for consciousness to emerge into. I mean what could possibly explain the fact we aren't just living 1 life than the fact that we aren't living as the first humans on earth or even other beings here right now. It doesn't make sense to live a life that's skipped so far ahead of all the previous lives that have been lived before us, if we only lived once we would be experiencing the first conscious existence on this planet and then nothing after that. Reincarnation is the only thing that even remotely explains why we are living now experiencing life in this present and not just the first ever life on the planet once it makes no sense!!
