I love that you persevered from nightmare to on-point themed Halloween bag, I liked the hand stitching on the pockets too, very cute. Congrats on becoming an intermediate sewist 🎉
You are to be commended for seeing it through to the end 🎉🎉🎉.... im glad you did because now you are seeing yourself with more sewing experience than when you started .😊
This little bag ended up so cute! Congratulations for persevering. What a pain in the butt. But I am so glad that you ended up with a cute and useful product at the end. And there's no way you are a beginner sewist anymore - especially after working through that.
It turned out so cute! You're definitely not at beginner level -- that thing was complicated! Your eyes looked so sad at one point, I almost started crying with you.
Sorry you suffered the pain of making this pattern work. The end result was super cute. Just watched a video rant about the dangers of free patterns. The main element missing from this and other free patterns is Tech Editing. Tech Editing would have pulled together a comprehensive list of materials required, an order of operations, etc. I agree with the promotion to intermediate sewist.
oof, what a nightmare. Finished bag is cute though! What I've started doing for few patterns like that is select-all, copy the page, and then paste into a word document. I then spend some time cleaning it up so it's easier to read- saves me some sanity waiting for stupid ads to load!
Your perseverance through this blows my mind. I am sure I would have given up very early on. It turned out so cute, congrats on a job very well done!

On a bright note, your reels of cotton in the case in the background at 17.19 look absolutely yummy!
Good on you for persisting.
Wow, what a nightmare! I’m glad you managed to finish it, it looks cute. I would have given up! Awesome job!
