Upper Mustang, Nepal

Upper Mustang, the last kingdom of Nepal is a place of desolate and sublime beauty. This is a video montage of a 10day trek there in April2014. The route starts in the small town of Jomsom and follows the villages of Kagbeni-Chhusang-Syanboche-Ghemi-Tsarang-Lo Manthang-Choser-Lo Manthang-Dhakmar-Syanboche-Chhusang and back to Jomsom. At a $100 a day it is not cheap but worth every cent for the pristine environment and robust culture.
