But would you be jealous of a flawed performance that's getting more attention than it probably should? It's actually bad for the class and the overexposed student. A good teacher would've stopped this kid's and his parents' horses in time. It even looks like a serious case of "let's pay someone to get our kid listened to and f*** the rest of the class, they can wait and listen to our kid". I'd just ask some commenters to pay close attention to what they listen to and comment accordingly, in a more noderate manner. The problem is, now several of his classic piece covers and so on are covering the ugly natural harmonics his Steve Vai acoustic act inevitably creates with some electronic makeup. Limitations exist and we should never stop recognizing them as we humbly do our work. He should've been a shredder and should be working on his muting technique. Like Tina S did. She's another girl they were pushing too hard just for the sake of show and likes from the idolizing gullible. I remember our guitar teacher's opinion and the expert opinions after every audition or performance at music school: "yes, that guy played faster than you but his technique and sound left much to be desired and make no mistake: the other teacher did notice it and had a good impression of your sound. I do recommend you to find more challenging pieces for your repertoire, but never forget about the sound and technique. And don't be worried about the stuff the others play."

Agreed. It's so refreshing the sound and styles of playing accoustic guitar. He combined guitar and drums in 1 playing it so fast that to observe his moves of hands we should set up YT for slower option.
323 people gave this a thumbs down... I mean, I was speechless of this performance... then 323 thumbs down, I think I'm more in shock of that lol. I guess not everyone can appreciate an 18 year old young man that can completely melt an acoustic guitar.
I guess those dislikers were mostly classical guitarists likely deceived of the reaction of other people not entirely his im sure they thought he was great but probably thought it was overrated cuz of the techniques he used just sounded flashy (esp with the pedals and effects) and most people thought he made the peice or maybe they just dont like it at all but either way what techniques he used still sounded really epic and beautiful . whatever it takes to make something beautiful doesnt have to be all so complicated it could be just simple like a girlfiend of mine that will never exist :(
