Okay so drac’s shoes are from her prototype! That’s why I recognized them lol
Those are even the shoes she uses on the TV show.
I’m glad that they are re-using elements from prototypes, rather than doing recolored shoes 👀.

I really love the darker more maroon/raspberry tones that they’re using for Draculaura now!! It really helps her feel more different and unique ❤

I honestly think Twyla is hideous. Venus and draculara are okay. But this is in general an awful like imo

I JUST got caught up on what I wanted. Morticia and Wednesday ship this week and I hope to get SDCC Ghoulia. I may NEVER complete all the Skulltimate Secrets lines, but this one with the garden theme, YESSSSS!

I am so sad that Venus doesn't have the full braids! I mean I guess I understand them wanting some variation between her different dolls, but I hate her silhouette with this mixed hair. I can see that she looks more like G1 Venus with this hair, but to me G1 Venus pales in comparison to G3. When I got my daughter her Venus doll for her birthday, I would just hold her and look at her because she is so beautiful. I love her new hair and despise this mixed version. I want Twyla tho. Finally her hair isnt going to be awful. As someone with curly hair I can sympathize with her, and empathize with het and admit that (esp being from and living in FL) curly hair is often awful without proper maintenance!
I like them a lot but I’m a little disappointed that the lockers are the elevator style of ss4 and that they didn’t play more with the garden or tea party aspect as a playset piece.
I wished they inversed the green and pink on the closet for Venus, don't need another mainly pink one

Very sad that they didn’t play around more with the textured hair for Venus, she obviously can rock any hair style but it is such a shame for her first doll having been so strong. I am kinda off put by Drac bing in red mostly. Not really used to this for her. The hair is pretty I’m just not used to it. Twyla is ok. I don’t know I feel like her Fearbook doll is stronger than this one personally. Over all they are ok, and Venus would probably be the only one I get.
Idk I think the repetition in SS4 kinda works, cuz the theme kinda looked a lot like pop stars/idols, which having them all kind have the same fit made it look cohesive as a group when you put them together. Neon frights tho, I can’t defend that 😭 (the only upside from that was the Toralei and Twyla doll)

The teacups ☕are different like Venus has vines 🌿 while twyla has the Smokey motif like her legs sooooooo cute

I wasn't interested in series 3 or 4, but this one is definitely up my alley. I also enjoy the red added to Draculaura's color palette.

To be honest with you I’m really glad that Twyla is in the line because like she’s so beautiful however, I still think that they’re all gonna have poly just because the last 3 lines excluding Frankie and Clawdeen from series one had poly, but I’m really glad that they had that they’re gonna have Lagoona in the line again because she’s a really beautiful doll. However, I might only just get Laguna and Twyla due to the small space in my room and my house is pretty small, but at least we get better doll but with bad hair
Jinafire should be released with this line. Anyways, these 03 are all gorgeous, they seem a bit more "mature" comparing to their other releases.
This is definitely a fire ass line and I can’t wait to see Lagoona as well. I love all of them. Seriously I am getting all of and I have been a lot more selective with a Monster High. This is such an amazing, beautiful line.

When I saw Venus I was like omg g1 Venus but better.
I will always adore g1 Venus. She was my fave and I own all bar 2 of them I’m pretty sure. But g3 just eats her up. And man she is just to die for.

I feel weird by not liking it when everyone is so excited :,) idk, I don’t like the clothes that much, I like the sleeves, but the dresses are kinda boring to me ;-; but not saying they are ugly! Definitely not, but they are a bit boring for me, maybe I’ll change my mind when someone reviews them, seeing everything up close can be very different for me
I can see that. The outfits are pretty to me, but I was hoping that with the garden party theme we would get long dresses for the girls, like knee length or longer. I’m tired of most of the dresses we get being almost the same length.

Fearbook Twyla eats this one up. I had Venus on my potential wishlist but the green and pink are clashing a lot for me. Which is odd because I'm glancing over at the core doll and the colors don't bother me. Hopefully Lagoona at least looks good. Draculaura is very nice. I'll skip SS4 Drac for this one easily. Not looking forward to the poly hair though.
drac’s earrings reminds me of vampire heart drac’s earrings lol. Also each base doll is amazing.

I dont think we needed another Drac but at least they finally gave her red, shes a vampire her colour palette should absolutely play in the reds occasionally. I cant get over her earrings looking like sea turtles tho

back to say you’re spot on with twyla being reminiscent of the g1 coffin bean doll! looking at mine and she also has predominantly purple hair with the mint green as highlights. i think she might be the only other doll with that hair coloring pattern?
The Venus doll actually is wearing shoes (if the are not the exact same shoes) similar to Music Festival Venus.
All of them look super adorable unfortunately though I feel like they're going to have Polly 😭😭😭 also 2:43 it looks like draculaura is telekinetically holding the cupcakes

I really hope these will come to Greece, and if they do I hope I will be able to afford them when they do 😁. This is for me, aesthetically (cause we dont know quality yet) the most beautifull of the skulltimate series. I dont have Venus core because she was never released here and I was waiting for her(Although Toralei just showed up in some big Greek toy stores) but this new Venus , I might just wait to get that one because she is just perfect. Love her!!! Draculaura also is beautifull but I already have her as a character (1-character per line collector here and that is because of extremely limited space). You are also right about Twyla, she looks as the most beautifull version of her, but I also have her....hmmm..if she has Saran I might just keep this as my Twyla.
Omgosh Draculaura and Twyla are sooo pretty. I really love them and plan to get them as soon as they drop. I'm not super a fan of what they did with Venus though. I actually prefer her core release doll more. Great video Lizzy :)

as someone from the uk, if they come out when you're here i'd advise waiting to buy them when you're back in the us. SS is so much more expensive over here, when converted I think they're over $45 each.

i agree. i rly love this line draculaura is definitely my favorite. i love her face ik shes a bit wonky but i love how much g1 she is giving. series 4 imo was kinda a flop so im glad this series takes the cake 🩷
I've never bought a Skulltimate Secrets doll, but I LOVE all these ! Even with poly hair, the rest of the designs are so strong & good, I will buy these ! Maybe if we bitch about the poly enough, they'll give these saran? Ha ! Well, we can try. I will pay $5 more per doll to have that.

SS is fun but the plastic really tightened up the budget of the dolls. Mattel is not a magic company. They still have to care about the budget. some fans are looking at the braids on Venus.
I Hope they can release this line slowly to let other pure doll line to shine.
