    This video has change my life. 8 years ago I saw your video and this is the reason that why I bought a ducati 795. It was first bike in my life.
    In 8 years as a ducati rider. I have many friends from Ducati and others brands. There are many motorcycle story in my life.
    After 795 I change to Panigale, Diavel, Hypermotard. I almost forget this video but today it show up on my timeline. It’s like every story replay in my head.
    Nothing to say but “Thank you” for uploading this video and please don’t delete it.

    Of all the exhaust videos... this one wins hands down! I wish others would stop stuffing their mic into the pipe and do more ride by like this! That's when the exhaust shines! Thank you for the efforts!

    What amazes me is that there are 92 dislikes, how can you possibly dislike this sound. I have a monster 1100 evo with Termi cans and this is the best reproduction of this sound I have found on the net, ourstanding. one of the best sounding bikes I have ridden in 30 years, including KTMs and Hondas with loud pipes and harleys which also sound awesome. But the Ducati....mmmmmmm its just.......
    right.

      +Jimmy Hamelin To be fair you have to actually stand next to an evo to get the full sound, it is more impressive in the flesh. You can't fully replicate motorcycle exhausts with even the most expensive speakers, its just not the same.

      well with db killer not much better from stock
      in some countries its illegal to ride without db killers
      so i guess thats the dislikes for haha

    Bought and installed the LV pipe today from the local Duc shop. Total cost with tax under $600. Self install in 30 min. They sound and look amazing. No other extras necessary. I'm very happy and easily saved well over $1,000.00 vs. Termignoni.

    Exhaust companies should send you bikes and exhaust kits to video. This video is wonderfully done.

  • @faiselzamanmd
    @faiselzamanmd 12 лет назад +1

    Impressive video. Thanks for taking the time to truly help us understand the differences via video. That's a hard thing to get across, and you couldn't have done it better.

  • @faiselzamanmd
    @faiselzamanmd 11 лет назад

    The sound is awesome. It is certainly not too loud, and in fact, initially I was a bit disappointed at it NOT being loud enough. My older cruisers were FAR louder when I replaced the pipes with Vance and Hines and Cobra pipes than when I made this ad on. The sound is a pure eargasm, not to mention the great looks. I'm confident you will be very happy. Good luck, and ride safely!

  • @paullejeune00
    @paullejeune00  12 лет назад +6

    :) and by the way, my smaller Streetfighter 848, which has 30% more horse power than the Monster 1100 is not as much fun under 6000 RPM. Low end torque and small weight are what makes the monster 1100 such an amazing bike... and don't forget the sound of the Termignoni!

    1st class video... that said please don't forget that adding Termis with the ECU also change the engine behaviour (it can rev at lower speed, it seems to breathe more openly)... mean mean mean!!!

  • @paullejeune00
    @paullejeune00  13 лет назад

    Thank you. Marty (the owner of the bike) and I were a bit disappointed that there was no good sound track available on the web for the 1100 evo. In this video you get the Tone of the sound but it's missing how loud the "no db killer" is. I think that it is about 2-3 times louder than with the "db killer". Unfortunately, the camera tones down very loud sound. With the db killer, i think this bike is not louder than the stock exhaust... If not quieter since the original sound is already very nice

    Best exhaust video on RUclips, fantastic work kind sir :)
    What i don't get though is the number of dislikes, i mean, why ? The hate Ducati brings out of certain people is mind-boggling...

    The bike is my friend's Marty... i can't tell how it was before because i never tried it before... but it feels and sounds sooooo good with the termi in and the ecu. Lots of low end torque. Much more than my Streetfighter 848 at low RPM.

    Excellent video!!! Definitely like it better without the silencers. I have a M696 with the Termi Carbon exhaust. When I ride with my friend and his BMW S1000RR, he always says "That bike sounds like it has no friends... it is just plain mean!" Will be upgrading to the M1100 Evo soon, definitely with the Termi's. Great post man!

    ... I think that it fair to say that without the DB Killers, it is a good 2 to 3 times louder than with the DB Killer! After riding the Monster for about 3 weeks now, I can say that I really love the sound without the baffles but on the highway or a long riding day, it gets anoying! On the other hand, it is SO FUNNY to watch all those Harley guys twisting their neck to see whats coming at them 8-)

    Don't forget that you have to buy a high flow air filter,a Power Commander (or any other tuning system) and also have your bike tune for your new LV exhaust... It might be less thant the Termi's option but I don't think you will save 1K...

    I will try to be more explicit than this morning on my IPhone!!! First of all, I cannot thank Jimmy enough to give me the opportunity to work with him on this project. As we were talking about what with wanted to accomplish prior to the shoot, we both felt that (no offence to anyone) there was not a video yet on the web doing justice to the sound of the Termis on a M1100 EVO. And to really appreciate the difference (or the melody!!!), you guys should listen them throught some good speakers...

  • @paullejeune00

    You should try one and you'll probably change your mind... Monster 1100 is 100 hp. With mechanical constraints of 2 valves 2 cylinders air cooled, nobody does better than Ducati ... nobody. The Monster is not meant for high speed racing, but they are very torque at low RPM which makes it the perfect nimble sporty city bike. It can still do 0-100 km/h in low 3 seconds... Who needs more? If you want 195 hp, try the Pannigale or the Streetfighter S. And yes they look great!

    Do I really hear a misfire on such a new bike with fuel injection? The sound is great in general, but for me it raises a question about quality when a bike misfires like that. You can hear it on 0:18, same as you would on a cold carbureted bike without choke in the morning, a misfire because of blipping the throttle too fast.

    • @chillrasta12
      @chillrasta12 9 лет назад

      IceBlitz Even with EFI if it is not warmed up properly it will do that.

    • @Tussi17
      @Tussi17 9 лет назад

      MarkG Sounds like bad engineering. That will never happen on a modern japanese bike.

    • @EdumastaDMBC
      @EdumastaDMBC 9 лет назад +1

      IceBlitz you come to this conclusion because of one missfire? You clearly never owned a Ducati ;)

    • @Tussi17
      @Tussi17 9 лет назад

      DMBC No, my statement is not a conclusion but as I said, it raises a _question_ about quality for me when something like that happens on a modern fuel injected bike, that's all :)

    • @chillrasta12

    • @guybrushthreepwood549

      With dB killers and not touching cartography, around 8 HP. Easily the double without dB killers. If cartography is adapted, you gain power. About 12 HP.

    You'll be fine. I'm 5ft 11in barefeet and the bike is a perfect fit. My girlfriend is 5ft 8in and she rides without any complaints (both when she rides it solo and as a pillion passenger). But this is not a bike that can handle more than 135-140kg, so if you and your girl weight more than that together, I'd advise against it.
