The Panzerkampfwagen III (German: Panzerkampfwagen III) was a German medium tank of World War II. The car was originally known as the ZW in order to cope with inspections by the League of Nations. The Panzer III has a variety of derivatives and modifications, and was widely used by the German army in World War II, and its modifications and derivatives were in service until the end of World War II.
