I'm not from Minnesota, but I've been a Vikings fan ever since my mom bought me a Vikings winter hat in grammar school. That was decades ago, and I hope to see them win a Superbowl before I die.
It's unfortunate this week takes away what would be a home game at the taxpayer funded US Bank Stadium. Seems like the NFL should make up that revenue for the City of Minneapolis and State of Minnesota. Their hostage pitch was US Bank Stadium would bring more jobs to the area, then they take home games to other countries. So that is only 10 games in the stadium this year if they have 1 home playoff game.
Like, sure and all. But you do realize that the Vikings have already paid off the stadium, right? Meaning the investment is already paying off in a big way. So I'm not sure why you're so pessimistic about how the stadium got financed since it's proven to be a great decision.
If the Wilfs and NFL want to pay back all of the tax money to the city and state then they can play in London every week if they want to. I'm not a huge fan of corporate welfare. The Wilfs will profit $4B if they selling the Vikings with having the taxpayers on the hook for a lot of the stadiums cost.

They paid that back already 23 yrs ahead of schedule in 23'.
@@SO-ud6roBut the Wilfs take in all the revenue and the taxpayers paid for a good portion of the stadium.
