I bought one from Lattafa a while back with Al Arabia in the name but it was too strong for me. I never understood how fragrances can be so strong but once I was visiting my in-laws in Tunisia and only brought designer fragrances with me, I found that they would evaporate in an hour or so on my skin in the dry hot weather (45 degrees + every day! 😅). They were gone and I smelled like nothing! I now get why they need more powerful stuff in these countries… This white bottle is gorgeous! You are tempting me to try this brand again! 😆

What a story! My mum went to Tunisia, she said she went for a camel ride, this was in the 70s, she asked the guide why the camels tail was tied, he told her that it was because the camel had diarrhoea!
I think people present lattafa fragrances as all good, in my experience of only two, in both cases the opening is a bit bumpy. The second one is definitely less strong than the first but does have good staying power and is more interesting. I can imagine it working in warm weather too. I can't imagine anything clinging on at 45oC though! Let me know if you find anything or if you try these! 🥰

I decluttered all of them after I'd had them over a year and retried them. You can see my thoughts in my declutter videos. The only one I still have is Ameer Al Oudh Intense (not in this video) and that is on the chopping block as I hardly wore it last winter (perhaps twice?). Lattafa and Afnan are really not for me unfortunately from the fragrances I've tried to date (I've sampled quite a few). I have only liked Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Woman from all of the other more affordable Middle Eastern fragrances brands I've tried. I do really love some of the older Amouage (I own the old version of Opus III, but I love Portrayal, the old version of Lilac Love too) but they are a much more pricey Middle Eastern brand unfortunately. Thanks for watching 🥰

Afnan is my favourite middle eastern house.
I found a store locally that had some in stock and I went there wanting to try Rare Tiffany and was full expecting to come home with it.
Then I smelt Pink Supremacy………it is more of a western style perfume. And it is a gorgeous floral and pink pepper.
I have since got a few more Afnan’s (and a few more on the way.
Afnan Souvenir Floral Bouquet- said to be a dupe of Delina (but I haven’t smelt Delina)
Afnan Souvenir Desert Rose - more fruity than the other one.

Hello! This is a timely comment! I am about to post a declutter video 😂 15 months on, I've decided these just aren't for me! Too synthetic and chemical! It's out me off Lattafa really.
I've struggled to find ones I enjoy actually. Once you smell chemicals, you smell it always... The only one I like so far is ameer Al Oudh intense Oud, That is an almost nutty vanilla leathery saffron fragrance, it's the only one I've kept. I wouldn't say it's the best quality but good for £12 and definitely the best I tried. Strong though 😂
I tried oud for glory too, that was super strong, it lasted through showers 😂 not for me. Ana abiyedh rouge was ok, I didn't try it many times though, so I'm not sure if it does have that chemical smell or not. First impressions were ok. It's a sweet Baccarat rouge dupe. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching 😊

Another thing you need to know about Lattafa Perfumes (and all Arabic fragrances, for the most part) is you need to clear the atomizer by spraying 15 or so times and then set it aside, in a cool dark place, for a good few weeks before passing judgment on the fragrances.

I bought Shaghaf Oudh and it was not at all what I was expecting. I found it extremely sweet saffron and Oudh notes were powerful. I really did not like it. I have several vials and would be happy to send you some if you like. I can see why people like it but it doesn’t agree with my skin chemistry.
I tried Opulent Musk and liked it as the day wore on, the woody notes seemed to be choking me, not an experienced I have ever had before now. It was summer and I will try it again before I give final judgment.
I have tried many since then. My current love is Qimmah. I truly love what this fragrance does on my skin. The dry down for me is everything.

@@ScentedByMwendi it wasn't how I expected either, I totally get that. Did you get the tongue pusher stick vibe from it or is that just me??? 😂

It’s weird, I really have to be in the mood for it to wear that type of fragrance 🙂

I know exactly what you mean! The first one is extremely strong for me and that is not something I always want or something that is always appropriate. The second one has a very difficult saffron note for me, which means that, despite liking both of these fragrances, I would definitely have to be in a certain mood to wear them. 💕

    You're trying the wrong BR540 clones...Opulent musk isn't meant to be a BR540 dupe.
You need Club De Nuit Untold.
    I don't like Cloud. I don't like Opulent Musk.
I love CDN Untold and am about to order a 200ml bottle as we (I) speak. 💜
CDN for Women and CDN Imperiale are also gorgeous fragrances... I've not tried CDN Intense for women but I hear its an excellent Nior De Noir dupe.
Edit: Club De Nuit Untold does NOT have any medicinal note or accord, at all... its a beautiful fragrance.

It's a fab dupe but it does lack the beautiful development that Noir de Noir has. The price difference means I'm fine with that though. 😊
I have since realised that I don't enjoy BR540 style fragrances, including BR540 itself 😂
