I finally decided to start learning Reaktor. Love the video! I'll continue watching your tutorials! ..I love the first thing you hear in this video too! ;D ..Is that coffee?
@OwenDeVice Thanks for watching! I'm pretty sure you still have the older version of Reaktor. NI came out with a huge update that re-vamped the gui and added a couple new features. Try updating to the latest version, that should fix it.
I really enjoyed this. I bought Reaktor a couple of weeks ago, but I am having issues with getting it to play audio. Nothing comes in through midi channel. I thought it could be used as a vst and not require something else to use it. I am embarassed by this lol. I am using Ableton.
It appears some of of my window options are not operational? Although the Native instrument software indicates that the software is operational? My "check mark" is not enabled?
Awesome vid, i have been lost in Reaktor for too long, just end up giving up. Just a quick question, everything you did was kind of in one window, i followed along and managed to do it all but all the different parts of your one window are loads of separate windows for me? for example the side bar. Is there any way I can just get the one window like you do? It seems alot more convenient? Thanks!
Oh my god, mine wouldn't drag from triangle to output, every time I tried, the connection line would just automatically be right at the bottom left corner of the window and would barely drag up. I had to expand the window, drag triangle right to the bottom left corner, then link it from the output to triangle. What time wasted, argh.
What are the left rigs for? The ones you didn't connect. Is this for 4.0 sound? I also would like to know how this works. The "L1" and "R1" on the right side... does the sound exit there or does it come from there?
djjusnyce7 The new versions of Reaktor put those pop up windows under the "Debug" feature. You can enable Debuging by clicking the bug icon on the left toolbar near the top. It's off by default, unfortunately.
Hi Xavier, It could be a number of things. I would first make sure your computer is receiving MIDI by checking the Audio MIDI Setup (if you're on mac), then double check your MIDI setting in Reaktor and ensure it enables input from your controller.
@@BIGFACTSENT Some people only want to use the tools. Some others want to learn how they are built so they can design their own. Respect should be granted to both sides.
this program will drive me insane
just subbed to your bandcamp (I'm illogick) great stuff...

Thanks for this video I've always wanted to start something from scratch using reaktor. Though the premade synthesizers are still great.

i'd love to have the green reaktor gui ... looks vintage-y oldschool , any idea how to do this, probably an older version ...
Great source of info. Thanks for this video!

Really? All this to make a stupid sound?
+Jaunty J Seems like you've missed the whole idea behind it.
+Jaunty J thats how synthesizers work. the ones that let you do stuff very quickly are only there because people did all this work for you before.
Jaunty J i know right just get a vst and call it a fucking day

One stupid sound can turn into many stupid sounds
Many stupid sounds turns into music
