I have a 6 minute long talking head video with nothing but me talking, not even music, and yet it has 70% retention. When you're in the education niche retention doesn't have the same requirements as the entertainment niche.

The fact you went through HOURS of interviews, wrote probably THOUSANDS of words, and shared it to your audience is so crazy I would've figured most people would gatekeep this information but you openly share it to your community this will help so many up and coming creators too, Thank you and this video was truly amazing. ❤

Something I've heard time and time again is that you don't need to be a foremost expert in a field to provide value to someone else. When teaching, you simply need to be slightly ahead of them in your journey-in that case, you can actually provide *more* value, in many aspects, than a leading expert, because you are able to give them the smaller steps up that the guru is so far above he can no longer see them anymore.
Thank you for starting this channel and this series! I've seen these MrBeast clips a bunch of times, but I appreciate you categorizing them and curating them into digestible nuggets!

Sometimes I think it would be better to study Mr. Beast as a child. When he first started going viral and had something to lose. I can definitely see taking advice and getting inspiration from him as a creator now. But the man is one of the richest young adults on the planet. An enormous team, spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on every single video, has access to the best of the best technology for marketing and advertising. Advertising and of course now has the biggest fan base out of any other creator on RUclips or social media in general.

if you just starting anything, you gotta put in the work, after you have some ideas of what works, slow down and make the best videos you can, buttttt give yourself a deadline! Also noone knows what a good video is.

For sure. It's always a balance - not waiting forever to upload, but not rushing a video just for the sake of meeting a specific schedule

I may be missing many things but this is what I absorbed from the video.
    Hope it helps everyone. Cheers
    0. Idea should be different/standing out but also relatable
    1. Get Thumbnail first. Make it interesting af
    2. First 5 seconds of your video should tell the audience what is happening because of hover
    play feature of youtube
    3. First 10 seconds should be the hook of the video
    4. Then the entire video comes where in the end there is a payoff which is what you mentioned
in the first 10 seconds of the video.
    5. If your video is longer then introduce sub stories which has beginning and payoffs in middle
    or end
    6. REMOVE DULL MOMENTS
    7. Use camera cuts when you are talking about something long with a 2-3 camera setup. If you
have 1 camera then stop the video and take your script further from another angle.
THE POINT IS TO MAKE IT INTERESTING
    8. Brainstorm, research with your friends or peers or both. Discus 100 thumbnails, discuss
viral videos as to what they did went viral.
    9. MAKE RUclipsR FRIENDS
    10. FOCUS ON QUALITY INITIALLY AND FOR ALL TIME TO COME
    11. Upload whenever you want and when you have a quality video
    12. IMPROVE ON EACH SUCCESIVE VIDEO - be it thumbnail, editing, production, script, lighting,
colors, camera angles, making it interesting, doing something unexpected or funny, etc, etc.

If you happen to see this comment. Derral Eves: Channel Jumpstart, or he has a free 30 day challenge. As I believe Jimmy said, no one knows more about youtube than Derral. I can say that his training and system is something to look into. Love the video by the way!
(Seeing your effort and passion inspiring, so thought I'd let you know about the biggest thing I've found on my journey.)
