Today's Shagrotz invasion was hilarious. He must have felt so desolate when the 5th summon instantly died to a crit and the 6th just gave up and watched.
Piercing Fang is a top tier AoW for the KGS and it works on any weapon where you have to twitch roll a fast move. Twitch rolling the windup of Piercing Fang equals roll catch so it's a great way to hit good players. It actually works better the better the player is. I assume it's a bit better in PSN than PC as PC might give you more time to tell moves apart before rolling, but Marko said it was working well on PC too.
What do you mean by “twitch roll”? Do you just mean set-up roll catches by queuing Piercing Fang after an R1 (for example) in anticipation of a roll? If so, yes, that works extremely well on PC as well.
@@Phizo. I meant that some attacks are reactable but fast enough that you have to react to the movement of the attack without enough time to discern which attack it actually is, and if there's a Piercing Fang press in that moment, they'll roll with the timing of the other attack and get caught. A good example is blended KGS crouch r1.
@@HopelessEvenings Yep gotcha. Just wanted to confirm whether it was something I didn’t know of since I haven’t heard that term before and couldn’t find anything searching for it, but I know what you’re talking about.
Stomp stomp combos into r2 of all greatswords, curved greatswords and all great axes except crescent moon axe as well as the pick axe great hammer. It’s really good on the banished knight greatsword where sometimes you got enough range and that extra AR and less stamina cost is more effective than KGS.
The first dude on the tree did the classic enemy cosplay trick. Sadly with the compass and music blasting during pvp, it's pretty much impossible in Elden Ring. Was crazy fun in ds3 though.
I never finded Piercing fang good, at least when i fight with someone using it, its extremely telegrafic and dont blend with any other attack of weapons even for claymore with makes for me dodging that ash of war very easy
The key is that some attacks are reactable but they look the same, you have to roll them too early to tell which attack it is, and they have different timings. That's why Piercing Fang is so good.
11:15 Guy goes into motion with Bloodhounds finesse and in that Split Second Steel hard swaps into the Golden Parry. How is anyone supposed to play against that? I will be honest with you, I can never be that fast in the menu. Some people might say it just takes practice, but I've been playing for 500 hours and I still hit the menu button when I'm trying to open the map half of the time. I have to consciously think about two handing a weapon and remember which buttons it is.
Let's just say that that deck is staked way too high for me to beat it consistently. Rune arc? check. Lat? check. Infinite summons? check. Run/turn and burn under less than ideal circumstances? check. I'd have to get very, very lucky. As would most invaders, dare I say.

Who is this Marko guy?
@@scholarofthelosttrove One of PSN's best players, and he uses KGS a ton. He got PC recently.

Piercing fang on a greatsword is so good. Often catches people panic rolling away from you after an R1.

I prefer when my L2’s are Transient Moonlight and not long poke, like Michael Zaki intended.
Am I doing the input wrong for the piercing fang? I'm having difficulty actually rotating my character fast enough.
One downside of this technique is: when you learn how to do that, you always doing that even when it's not neccesary. :D
love that lil tbag from shag lmao, actual coolest ganker (real)
need a tier list playlist
that's nice, maybe it can be used to difficult backstab punishes

Spam it out, dude. Force your opponents to roll, use it out of neutral, doesn’t matter. Use it as part of a combo or by itself, it does it all.

Does it slap on BKGS?
I wish impaling thrust had HA, it's wasted potential imo
And it also can automatically spacing opponants as well I see.
There's no unreactable attack with or without blending for any greatsword. Kgs is no threat.
markoveso had a decent run with it in a tourney recently
How? What did he do?

the range on ALL MAGIC bullet art needs to be cut 50%, if you want to cheese from 75ft away, you will need a bow. simple as

Yes, they’re called game pads, also known colloquially as a controller.

So cleeeeeeaaaan 👌👌👌
just a worse sword dance
It’s actually just spacing 2.0. Sword dance is straightforward, while piercing fang is all about how, or more specifically when, you use it.
No?

If Shag is awesome and just playing the part of a toxic shtr....he plays the part well. I hear he's a good guy or whatever, but man...
