I just uploaded a new video on this, so check it out on my channel in the Appgyver Tutorials Playlist, it's called "How to Use the Appgyver Web View Options"! For this you can either make the button naviagate to antother page in the app with a full screen web view, or you can download the "open web browser" front end logic from the component marker and use this (be careful with this option as for iOS currently it doesn't allow you to navigate away from the modla this opens).
Make sure that the option you use gives users the ability to close the web view otherwise it may not work well on IOS.

clicking on external links on my website like share button , open Google map link. can't open other apps when clicking links.. how to fix it. Pls tell me.
If appgyver is displaying the website properly then this may be an issue with the website or the links it's rendering. I don't know if you're able to change the way the links work but unfortunately there is limited ability to customize this component.

How to add RUclips video link into app, so people can play directly from app
You would use the url for the RUclips video. I go through this on my video about "making the app for my channel".
Can you build for the AppStore in here as well?
You can use appgyver to build apps for Google play the Apple app store and Web apps. I have a series on this in more detail. It's important to note that acceptance into the Apple app store is difficult.
hi tyler great video , so any change i make it will apply automatically in the futue to the app and what about the payment gateaway it will be also the same website ? im trying to build a website then transfer it on appgyver on Apple Store and android instate of building the app from scratch
As far as I can tell the web view and preview just load a live version of the page, so the information on the page is displayed just as it would be if you review the page from a web browser. Make sure to review the Appgyver Docs about security, and the Google Play and Apple develop guidelines for your app idea or ideas to make sure it follows all relevant policies and laws, and all regulations.
how much do you charge to build an app?
It is a service I am considering based on customer needs, but I wouldn't be building anything too complicated. I just finished publishing an app for my channel which will have a request section. This is pending review in Google Play and the Apple app store, so keep an eye out for a video I will post when it's live!
Very informative did Tyler. I'm not the sharpest tack in the box but it sounds like you could make a mobile app out of a web platform like podia which does not have its own mobile apps. Is this correct or am I missing the lesson?
I am not familiar with that website, but that's the general idea. There are likely limitations to this method, but overall it seems like a possibility to convert websites to apps.

And what i should do to upload on app store
This is an application that uses a component to render a website. You would still upload the application. I have a video on how to upload your app to Google Play which should show this in more detail.
Some app stores may reject the app if it's just a web preview. You need to check their guidelines regardless of your apps content to make sure it meets the guidelines and all applicable regulations and rules.
Tyler this is great. Can you kindly advise on how to integrate the translate option on this web preview? (eg: I want to translate a certain webpage into French and display in here.) Also, what is the best optimum method to integrate ads?
Thank you! To your first question I do not know if the translate function can be used for this, or if that is possible. I would recommend checking the documentation for this feature or asking on their forums. To your second question regarding ads, this one is a bit trickier. I will paste a link below to a forum about this.

@@TylerTalksChannel Thanks. I actually sorted out translate issue via mapping designated site to google translator. Works fine since the site is static. About the monetization, unfortunately at the moment appgyver does not support any features for that :(

Im on a MacBook / Iphone..... was able to do it with quiktime and a charging cable!

@@KaiBuskirk sounds like it's working! The preview message does say it needs to be on a mobile device or something like that so I think you need the appgyver preview app on a mobile device, not the preview option on an internet browser on a pc/mac.

What do you mean by a back button? The native phone buttons are a part of Android, not the Appgyver navigation.
Also, what do you mean by making a pop up? You can use the toast message or the confirmation flow functions (select a component, open the logic, and drag over the toast or confirmation and connect them). That should do it!
Yes. I noticed the native phone button does not control WebView i. Appgyver. For example if you convert your site using the WebView and navigate to a new page. Instead of going back to the previous WebView page, it exists the app. I was hoping there is a workaround for it
@@ojikalu2829 unfortunately I haven't seen any in the app, it looks like the web view has limited functionality. My best recommendation would be to check the docs for the webview component or post in the forums. I don't see much customization for this component.
Alright, please could you help me out with a project I've been on for over 7 months with no success?
I want to create an offline app that requires a passcode to access the app (more like a license) on first usage.
But then on, the app checks if the passcode exists on the users device and then opens the home page but if not, it opens the license page.
I successfully got the license page to open upon inserting the right passcode but been stuck there.
I have also tried creating a client side database and an app variable but it still doesn't work.
Another option I thought of is to use a toggle and have the app check on every launch if the value is true or false and then open a page depending on the answer.

@@ojikalu2829 If you check out the series or playlist I have on my channel how to create a social or sharing app I think the sign in page video would be helpful for you. My initial thought here would be if you could set up if it's set up the fire base then you can restrict to users who you provide a email in password for, then don't allow users to sign up. I believe appgyer can get set up with firebase to automatically remember the username and password and if users don't have the ability to sign up, then the only ones that can sign in to the app are rhose you provide access to, and thus the app remembers the info you set up and distribute. The only issue I can think of here is if the app would work offline. Either way I think two good options for this would be to set up authentication in Appgyver which could be online only (I'm not sure), or to set up a home page with a data variable that is saved to the app and is recalled on app load.
Can i use this on a website directory
You should be able to render any normal website here. My understanding is the web preview uses the devices default browser, so if the url works in a browser it should work here. Feel free to try it out and see!

How can we add loading when we scroll down
I dont know what you mean by add loading, but I haven't seen much to customize this component or flow function. I would recommend posting this question in the Appgyver forums.

You can check their docs to see if there are limitations, but I don't see why it wouldn't. It only takes a minute to set it up so you could download the app on your device (the web preview function doesn't work in the online preview of the app currently).
Hi people. How are you. I'm new to appgyver and don't know how to create links to open social media and external urls via app? Because, I could only find the Tap Component +"Open Page" navigation, but no other options to send users to my youtube video or write me via whatsapp or call me or link to any website. So how to set up these things in appgyver? N e e e d H e e e l p :))
