Born too late to challenge Mozart to a drag race through the streets of Vienna, born too early to colonize Neptune, born just in time to watch the greatest let’s play ever made.
I can't believe I've played through this game 4 times and this episode included several NPC interactions I'VE NEVER SEEN. I 've completed Alexander's quest several without ever finding him stuck in Liurnia. And the whole bit with Blaidd in the Evergaol - never seen any of that either.
Wonderful when Fromsoft do that. These interactions are not crucial to progressing their storylines, but it’s really rewarding secret content to those who seek it out. Love it!
I'm having the exact same thing! Thought I'd seen everything in multiple playthroughs and this episode alone has multiple things that are completely new to me!
This episode just reminded me of an unexpected delight of this series; how much Gav really is getting into the lore. Love seeing his reactions when a new story beat is revealed.
Rory is STILL not listening to Krupa when he explains the twinblade talisman.🤣 For the umpteenth time he's said it only effects the final hit of a complete combo. Rory: I'm not even using the twinblade.
Watching this premiere live along with the beautiful sluggy lot in discord once again made me feel so lucky and grateful to be part of this community ❤
Also, Band of the Hawks is Griffiths mercenary band that Guts joins in Berserk, the show that has pretty much inspired all of Miyazaki's work. There are many references throughout all of the Soulsborne games, but this is probably the most direct reference.
The cool thing about the Mimic Tear as well is it will optimally take advantage of whatever items you have equipped in your item slots without you actually spending them (I.e. if you have Exalted Meat, or any other buff item on the Mimic will more than not use it at the start of a fight)
I've just come out of the woods from a long camping trip, so it was lovely to find this treat waiting for me. I'm late to the party but ready to crack a cold one with the boys and hear what utter grot Gav has for me today. ❤
I’ve watched so many elden ring videos from various creators to the point i thought there was nothing new left in the game but i believe that is tye first time i seen blaidd trapped in that evergaol smashing job krupes fantastic start to the second series
I read an article a while back that said since bugs require high quality protein to become foodstuff to compete with chicken, and more processing to be palatable, they're more useful as cheap animal feed, reducing the strain on fields to produce alfalfa and corn.
We don't use a euphemism for cow and pig, it's a carry over from posh people using the old French and Latin words. Also, glad you guys are back! The boss run video lasted me several days of fun
I've waited and wondered what the first episode would be! And I'm not disappointed. Exploring the crazy set up of Nokron for the first time is a treat. Finding all the secrets and lore too
The Boys have seen me through so many bouts of crippling depression, I almost don’t need a therapist (still do though). Cheers to all the Slugs in this wonderful community! 2:39 P.S. “Bukakke Death” would be a great Metal band name.
HOLY SHIIIITE! 2 years, 1200 hours, 20+ playthroughs and countless lore videos watched, how I never ever knew that Blaidd was put into Darriwil’s evergaol. Simply put mind blown. 🤯🤯🤯 ALL HAIL LOREMASTER KRUPA!!! 🙇
My American cousin is visiting from North Carolina atm, and I can confirm that they don't have sausage rolls over there. It's all she wants to eat...well, that and Percy Pigs.
Terrible week, terrible Saturday, then I see this. Definitely has brightened up my day. If only I wasn't deaf in one ear, but hey, at least I can even watch it. Thanks lads. I'm excited for this journey. ❤
Great to have you back & brilliant episode. I never found Alexander in that hole & never saw that section of the Blaidd. I was playing along but fear ive gone too far to get those scenes now - bad times
You've got to own it Gav! Shrug at the skip and say "ey look, Free Quiche!" Make them walk away asking what the f*** is wrong with them for dating you. That's the real victory.
Yes, there's quiche in America, but I'd only ever eat it during the holidays. No, we do not have health care--unless we are corporate owned. Sword and Fang! Love you guys.

“I have been saving that for six months” 😂😂😂
Now that’s commitment
Gavin and his quiche had me wheezing
Real men don't eat quiche
Never heard it called that before 👀
So much Gav lore is around public facilities, what's next - Bullards?
@@FungleFunTime You need to have a long look in the mirror. Quiche is supreme
@@Cobweb404 you need to look up the phrase hombre
Mimic Tear: It has all of our strengths, and all of our weaknesses.
Right, so we know it can't parry then.
Truly. How many parries did it miss during the first fight against it?
halfway through the fight the mimic tear pulls out a whip, blows itself up, and then ragdolls off a cliff
"Got to work on the DLC, Drinking Lots of Corona" had me in stitches 😂

Gav: "I don't care, I love quiche!"
Ex: "I'm happy for you, really I am. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a park bench to get to"
“I’m fighting a shape” absolutely sent me.
This episode just reminded me of an unexpected delight of this series; how much Gav really is getting into the lore. Love seeing his reactions when a new story beat is revealed.
Seeing a Minnesota Vikings sweater on Gav is making this Minneapolis dude real happy.
Just when I think Rory can’t get any more “Rory” he goes and pulls a classic like that. So hyped for this.
Even when an episode is 2 hours long I'm gutted when it ends! Roll on next week

Because of some personal stuff I had to cancel my patreon but I'm really happy to be able to join you guys again soon, and right on time!

1:18:09 Gav just guessing all these fluids and while Krupa’s patience slowly wears down is pure gold.
Good to have you back lads
The four return..
Lore Master Krupa,
Quiche Destroyer Gav,
Speed Runner Powers,
Our Dear Finchy
..great start boys, missed you.
Literally premiers on my birthday! Couldn’t have asked for a better present! Cheers from America boys

Honestly more hyped for this than any series returning. Over 3 hours of content with the Patreon as well 🤤
I'd like to think that the Mimic Tear ashes is actually Auntie Finchy's friend Barbara mentioned in previous episodes.
Love this idea! "Y'aright there, Barbara?"
We’ve hit a level of “we’re so back” that’s unheard of.
Love hearing a Regular Features story on RKG. The Gav Cinematic Universe is great.
I've been waiting patiently for a "Rory v The Ball" episode.
Just placing my drink down and thought, I would 100% buy some RKG coasters!
Larval Tier where you vote on the build is actually really smart.

They found my boys! Those greatshield lads got me through some tough scrapes in my first playthrough.
I've had fights where they more than once have pinned a boss to a wall 😂
We don't use a euphemism for cow and pig, it's a carry over from posh people using the old French and Latin words. Also, glad you guys are back! The boss run video lasted me several days of fun
yep, mutton and beef from the french.
I've waited and wondered what the first episode would be! And I'm not disappointed. Exploring the crazy set up of Nokron for the first time is a treat. Finding all the secrets and lore too
Can confirm as an American, we do have quiche. I can also confirm we do not have healthcare haha that comment was such a golden dagger from Krupa
The DLC trailer comes out then this. Great week for Elden Ring.
Blaidd part blew my mind. Never seen that before. Big ups, Krupa!
Pretty sure I saw big Gav Murphy down Poole Quay yesterday, but was too scared to come say hi! 🤣
That was me! You should definitely have said hello. Next time! - Gav
There's actually a sign from Blaidd on the way down to Nokron, saying not to wait for him.
Might be nice for roundtable 😉
you had me at bukkake death literall 2 mins in and realised how much i missed this welcome back guys
I can totally see this series ending with the launch of Banter Brewery, featuring the Prawn Pilsner, Numbing Mist, Slug Stout, and the Frothy Finchy.
“I got a big hole you can jump in if you want.” Rory never change.

Oh if only the 40 min Gav edits Season 1 and 2 could see us now 😂
Glad to see this back lads, Cheers as always
Awesome start lads can't wait for next week
Rory mentioned HellDivers!! I love when my worlds crossover!!
My American cousin is visiting from North Carolina atm, and I can confirm that they don't have sausage rolls over there. It's all she wants to eat...well, that and Percy Pigs.
Eating quiche by the skip is going straight into RKG lore, isn't it.
Terrible week, terrible Saturday, then I see this. Definitely has brightened up my day. If only I wasn't deaf in one ear, but hey, at least I can even watch it. Thanks lads. I'm excited for this journey. ❤

Come for the puns, stay for the lore, get bewildered by the grot. Lovely old time.
Larval Tier for patreon is one of Rory's finest ever jokes!
Watching this with my sleepy newborn while my wife grabs a nap 😊
Same :)
peak internet content returns
You've got to own it Gav! Shrug at the skip and say "ey look, Free Quiche!" Make them walk away asking what the f*** is wrong with them for dating you. That's the real victory.
It’s a good time to be alive! RETRY is back babeeeee!!
its SO good to be back :)
I was so hyped for this and the banter does not disappoint 😂😂😂
Gav's relationship stories are always the best
Fantastic as ever boys! So glad to have this back
Here to once more start the weekly appreciation for the amazing intro! ❤️
Glad you are back lads! 😎
I've missed this. Good to have you back boys!
It’s good to be back.
Hello chaps. On hols in kos, chilling now watching this!
Kos? Some say Kosm... enjoy slug!
Just the way I want to go out, six dudes in the desert.
I am so excited right now!
Been waiting for this for so long!! Miss you guys and love the sweater gav! Skol vikings!
YASSSSSSSSS the wait is finally over! 🙌 Normality shall be restored!
What a great way to come back, to Rory reenacting Thelma and Louise with Torrent!
I’m giddy right now. Welcome tf back boys!
So excited to be back!
I’m so fucking happy this is back. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds ❤
there's a bakery/cafe around the corner from me that does a quiche special every day, so that's lunch tomorrow sorted
Good to have you back boys
Hahaha that quiche story, I think about it more often than I should. Classic regs feats
Yes, there's quiche in America, but I'd only ever eat it during the holidays. No, we do not have health care--unless we are corporate owned. Sword and Fang! Love you guys.
I can't fucking believe how you did the mimic tear xD
It's a pretty common strat to troll the mimic.
yay you are back!
You are really teasing us this time. :)
I love every rune I see from Dark Souls 1 to Dark Souls 3 🎼
Dayum used to go to Finsbury Park every week. Getting caught with the quiche sounds so unfortunate 🤣
30:27 I was hoping one of yous would say "Bug Mac" ba-dum-tss

i really hope they keep this up after the series.
Is Daniel going to do a mimic tear intervention? Because speaking from experience it is basically a cheat code.
We'll use it for a bit, as it is funny having two Aunty Finchy's and not every single fight needs to be an episode long. But we'll probably ditch it for Shardbearers and the late-game stuff.
English has differant words for meat vs animals from when the nobility spoke french after the norman conquest.
So hyped!!!!
1:43:27
That's downright foreshadowing ☠️
I dunno if anyone has said but ground chuck is the same as ground beef maybe different quality?
Chuck is a specific cut of meat from the shoulder and tends to have higher fat content.
American here. Big quiche fan, now I definitely need to make one soon.
I am American and ate a bacon quishe with mushrooms two days ago, was ducking tremendous 💪😄
Back at it fellas
Aunty Finchy is rocking that Blanca look!
Butterfry burger sounds pretty good; how about some ANTchiladas? 😎
I had a quiche yesterday. It was lovely. Tomato & broccoli.
Can't wait!
Loved it!
