His yellow card count will decrease. His initial burst of speed is impressive, but it does decrease after 10 yards or so. At the Arsenal I think he'll be asked to pass immediately after that initial burst. A a left fullback he will make Martinelli more effective because, just like Ben White on the other side, he can both overlap _and_ underlap. Oh, and his heading prowess is freakish. Vast improvement over Kiwior. Calafiori is both a defensive and an attacking signing. Arsenal can can be neutralized if a defensive strategy is aimed at stopping Saka on the right, mainly because there in no real inherent attack from the left. Calafiore addresses that imbalance.
Get him a ben white fitness plan. Ben whites body changed and his stamina & fitness went up levels. A little tweak. I think cali increase. He's nowhere close to his man strength age.Its just incredible he is at this level after that shocking tackle he recieved so young. Tough mental strength.

Calafiori has that gung ho elegance about him, just like Saliba. Both are extremely powerful. Of course Gabriel with his young age is their OG at that position. Can't wait for Arteta to fill in the quality back ups for every position but a fraction of what Pep has done at Etihad.❤🤍COYG!
as a defender i just can't see him good enough, so how can a slow sluggish player be a left back ? i just don't understand, i see the footage and i don't see a fast agile defender, and that's what you need, cause when players will pass by him you will say oh no he is not good enough. but instead of looking at his skills you r happy to get him but why ? no reason, i don't see nothing in this footage, just running jumping and intercepting. but where is speed and agility ? without that u r NOTHING especially as a left back. poor singing by arsenal. they are doing a bad job.
