So many youtube videos are produced by people who may be excellent craftsman but fail miserably at teaching and filming. This is a rare exception. I thank you much and will probably use this braid that I might not have considered because of its apparent difficulty. You made it easy.
This was really clear and straightforward. I’m glad you used a big lacing pony instead of fumbling around with something small. I look forward to trying it on my next project.
Great job you are a good teacher. If you made a horizontal cut through the center of all the holes and hinged it, you could slide your braiding off, when you were done! I don’t know what that would look like-just a thought. Good job!!!

How long roughly does the lace need to be? Like how many times the length of the project do you need?
About 4-6 the length depending most ly on thickness.
