The game honestly looks like the same since like 2015-2016. Graphics seriously need an overhaul!
They don't care. But I feel like fans frustration with this keeps going up. Like mine, I'm just fed up with it. It's less about the graphics and more about the fact that in principle they seem to have abandoned the dedication to making the best baseball game they can and have hit full on deaf complacency mode.

Showing the exact same animations we've had for years as if its something new. Just look at the dugout players animation at 1:37 the exact same one
Its been the same engine since 2006. They've never created a newer one. The lighting and animations have gotten slightly better, but if you watch gameplay from MLB 06: The Show, all the models are still being used today.

Yep. No actual added depth to RTTS, just a marginally expanded high school/college section that still amounts to maybe half an hour of gameplay before they thrust you into the minor leagues just to do the same grindy BS all over again.
All of this just to face 100mph sinker/slider pitchers at 5k elevation fields

Not even joking just watched the trailers for mlb 14 and 15, and yeah...most scenes look the same for over 10 years! Crazy. Heck the jerseys could pass for The Show '12. The grass and dirt update the last few years was the biggest graphical overhaul. And even then it still isn't that great looking. It's pretty baffling

@Urbanizedatoland they are still involved with the show and it took MLB advanced media to go to other consoles. PC is gonna need to buy a piece of the show in order to be released on PC. Not gonna happen on its own

I made the same kind of comment on Facebook. But last time we had a graphical over was between 13 and 14 when they went from PS3 to PS4. And that overhaul was amazing. But in the last 12 years, they have not updated the graphics in a major overhaul at all. PS4 to PS5 was very incremental. Especially given that I have a PS five Pro, I wanna see that SDS it’s taking advantage of the hardware and squeezing what they can out of it. Especially since the PS5 is toward the end of its life (within the next 2 to 3 years I’d say we’ll see the PS6). There was absolutely no reason whatsoever, especially given that SDS is a first party Sony studio cant squeeze every bit out of the hardware possible!
@CjCroW yes they did I’ve been playing this game since mlb 2011 and graphics wise they have come a long way, but until weak systems like the switch are not involved the game will never be able to upgraded again

There was never a designed mode for it. Most likely going to be like last show game with wbc in 2023. just have the player cards and uniforms.

For players that play in broadcast can be you please just make the no doubt homerun camera capable of being turned off. It breaks realism so badly. That’s maybe the only “realistic expectation” thing on my wishlist for this game that’d make me buy it otherwise i just see no reason to upgrade from 24

And if you’re in broadcast you want that brief moment of the player going into the animation before it cuts just like irl - it’s a hype part of real baseball that needs to changing imo

Paying voice actors to read scripts would make it too realistic and fun. They could never make an idea as good as that.
Franchise guy here, don't really care about DD or the cash grab stuff. Really hoping the stadiums not carrying over from 25 means a new stadium creator with better options like moving bullpens, no more pre-set batters eye props, can't move the walls near foul lines etc. Would love to be able to create MiLB and classic ball parks that are actually accurate for my franchise seasons, but I'm sure that's too much to ask for, sadly.

I completed every collection in The Show 25 without spending a dime on stubs. I bought the game, and that was the only money I spent. I know they have their issues, but The Show is the only sports game with an Ultimate Team mode that you can honestly compete in without spending money.

It’s not allowed on pc because of the modding community. It will never be on pc. MLB has strict restrictions on what can and can’t be in the game that’s why it’s not on pc
