🎼Michael Nyman's Filmmusik bei "The Piano" (1993) ist zeitlos, und gerade "Big My Secret" hat für mich eine ganz besondere Bedeutung. Diese Pianistin spielt dieses Stück "by heart" absolut zutreffend, noch gelungener wäre zumindest meiner Ansicht nach, wenn während des Klavierspielens auch einzelne Bewegung der Flügelmechanik erkennbar sind, z. B. beim Pedalgebrauch 🎹
This is the most beautiful version of the Big My Secret IMO. At first the reverb of the recording was a little off-putting, but I got used to it. The performance itself I think is better than even the original Michael Nyman score. This is a little slower I think, more nuanced and delicate and pauses ever so slightly at the right moments. Absolutely gorgeous.
