About Season 6 of The Chi: This season, life in THE CHI reverberates between the highest highs and lowest lows. Big dreams are finally realized but at a cost and everyone will be tested in unimaginable ways as they calculate the risks and rewards of their next big move. Emmett (Jacob Latimore) and Kiesha’s (Birgundi Baker) blissful blended union is tested by his insatiable drive to expand Smokey’s and a new perilous partnership, while Kiesha finally races toward a rewarding new career. Douda (Curtiss Cook) deals with the fallout of Q’s murder and its effect on the shifting loyalty of his inner circle. Victor’s (Luke James) bold declaration of love for both his new girlfriend and his beloved community will impact his political ambitions. Happily married Jada (Yolonda Ross) mentors Emmett and her besties as they navigate relationships. Kevin (Alex Hibbert) is becoming a brilliant master gamer but struggles with the youthful pitfalls of early independence. Jake (Michael V. Epps) launches a new business, and Papa (Shamon Brown Jr.) falls for an older woman while questioning his faith. He's the heart and soul of the show
That episode was real! You could feel the emotions. They weren’t just acting, they were really saying goodbye. Especially in that scene when Kevin was hugging his mom and they were both crying 😭. I have watched The Chi since the very first episode and will definitely miss Kevin!

It’s been a privilege on our end at the viewers to take this journey with Alex Hibbert! Something about him feels so familiar and his character definitely tugs at my heart strings. I’m sad to see him go but excited to see what’s next for him in Hollywood.

That's the hardest part of seeing him go.
I am sure an NDA prevents him from discussing the projects he is moving on to, but I wish him success in his upcoming roles. This was the best written and acted season of The Chi and his arc was a major part of that.
I am NoT happy at all! Kevin is one of the Main characters who needs to take this series all the way to the end! However, if he’s ready to grow in the business, I hope he succeeds. Please bring him back on the special occasions. Thanks for being Coogie back too. Alex…see ya around. 👏🏾 ❤

Man Kev, do you have to go. I mean really. This man went from a kid just tryna grow up. Kev went from seeing somebody get shot, to tryna stay invisible so not to get got, to shooting somebody himself. Learning from his big sister to almost losing his sister to now being an uncle and support for Keisha. Love him and Emmett together as someone Kev kinda looked up to. And Kev got his boys. They done been through more than kids should have too yet they coming out shining and strong. Good luck Kev, Imma miss you. I wish you well.

For someone who’s not really in to most if not all series The Chi excludes all of that for myself. I just can’t get enough of this show
When I first started watching this, I had no idea how good it was going to be. I am hook on it and find myself can't wait to see the next episode. Watching everyone grow up and some I really liked died out, this right here. I love .I hope Kevin gets to come back at some point, maybe show his face from time to time but if not I wish him well. Kevin did a good job representing the good young.
