I discovered Conrad late in life. I am so glad I did, he is the most wonderful story teller and a literary master.

I appreciate knowing that Conrad was not even a British speaker and that he must have always been an outsider. Explains for me his narrative.

Thanks for this great video on Conrad having just finished Typhoon and Heart of Darkness it was very interesting. While reading I usually do a little background on the author and I was astonished to find out he was not English. I was even more surprised reading Typhoon, the prose is terrific and it's a wonderful book. Kipling's comment about a really good translation of a foreign novel is interesting but something I will take into account for future reading.

Considering English is Conrads third language its unbelieable how masterfull his command was

Shared. I had taken to purchasing multiple copies of his novels. Truly, obsessed with him when first encountered.

Sorry about this but your playlist is ordered 2,1,3,4,5 and not from part 1-5. You would probably benefit from that.

C rappy video. The narrator's British accent is too strong and the music is too loud compared to the narration.
