Senator Luis Alberto Lacalle on the Expiry Law (1989)

In 1989, Luis Alberto Lacalle was a senator representing the National Party (Herrerismo) and candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in the general elections to be held in November of that year in which he was elected. In April of that year he was interviewed for an English television program about the Expiry Law, a law that did not have the unanimous support of his Party. The team consisted of Tomás Linn (journalist), José María Ciganda (camera), Daniel Márquez (sound), Mario Jacob (direction) and Hilary Sandison (production).
