Oh my goodness Sonila, these look amazing! I'd love to give this a try. Thank you so much for this excellent, comprehensive demonstration of the process. That's fantastic!
Wow, the only thing that I was thinking about watching the process of this Pickled Green tomato was how amazing the flavor must be. Nunca lo he probado. Voy a buscar los tomatoes aqui a ver que tipo encuentro. Gracias por compartir. Saludos Sonila, beautiful hair btw.
Thank you:)), I was very nervous for my first in person video. Almost didn’t upload it. But great learning experience, so hope it will be easier for the next. If you like pickled vegetables, you’ll love these green tomatoes too.
@@SonilaZarate On the contrary, I think you did wonderfully. I appreciate the fact you're communicating in a language that is not your mother tongue! BRAVO! Keep going!
Hi Sonila, I am just wondering if I absolutely have to boil it afterwards? I just don’t want to lose the crunch factor in the tomatoes. Also, can I pickle other vegetables the same way, such as cabbage? Thanks for sharing I can’t wait to try it.
Hi Jen, thank you so much for your comment. The boiling of the jar top down is usually so there’s no oxygen left in the jar and the tomatoes pickle properly. However, I know when I was little we didn’t boil it. We put a rock or something heavy to weigh the tomatoes below pickling solution level. Rinse the tomatoes with cold water before using into a salad and they’ll be crunchy:)).
Lovely sharing my friend. Fully watched. Stay in touch and stay safe.
Que ricos los tomates!! Como los hacía mi abuela!! Bravo!!
