  • In this video we add the Amazon pitbike oil cooler to the Boom Vader. I already have the carb facing backwards so the mounting points work for my setup.

    people always ask "how much more oil do i put in my engine when using the oil cooler" and you just answered it by filling up the oil cooler BEFORE you put it on the bike.

    How would it work if theres no actual oil pump that goes to that part? I may be wrong but on the 212 i see an area for an oil cooler to hookup

    • @freddieRODZ
      @freddieRODZ  Месяц назад

      There is no pump just pressure fed. So it cools whatever oil is gets to pass thru

    Watch those line, I use the same kit. When they got good and hot one actually kink off, right at the fitting, I didn’t have to tight of a bend in the line but it happened. Good luck.

      I don’t think so. I just did so it doesn’t starve since it has more space for oil.

    It won't run better,in theory it helps the motor last longer,only problem is it's not a pump so it only cools whatever oil makes it through it

    • @freddieRODZ

      I get that. It does help it last longer. Thanks for watching

    I’m new to the clones but just got one, how effective would an oil cooler be without a pump? I could definitely imagine it running like 5-10% cooler at the higher end of operating temps, but there’s no temp sensors to measure the effects accurately. Anything you’ve noticed?

    • @freddieRODZ
      @freddieRODZ  Год назад

      Oil cooler would be a benefit if you running a higher compression piston. For stock 125cc. Not necessary

      @@freddieRODZ yeh i plan on goin with the 186 and i believe 13:1+ doin cam, valves, porting, etc, if not goin the 141/143cc bbk and boosting it lol. shootin for about 22whp endgame, idk if it would be easier to run a 5hp shot or run like 2psi on a shitty ebay turbo

    Bro if you would have never ran that clone bike with the manufacturer oil in it you would have never blown your engine the engine did not just blow either you were low oil or you did not have the right weight to keep the engine cool your just Doing to much just buy a real Grom . You spend way to much money homie
