My favourite verse in Psalm 91 is in Verse 3. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous PESTILENCE. I remembered you broke down the Hebrew word for PESTILENCE (deber) in your recent sermon and taught that the root word of pestilence (deber) is dabar (which means to speak). Our words have so much power, and I pray that we would begin realising how powerful the words of Psalm 91 can be during a crisis like this 🙏🏻
First Verse & last verse (1&16) are my favourites because in both the verses it starts with Jesus ( as jp says secret place ) and ends with - I will show him my salvation i.e yeshua -jesus . The words that we speak and that others speak and that we hear are very important. It affects our psyche, and our believing falls in line with what we hear and read. Indeed there are many voices speaking to us.. so much so that almost as soon as we quote a verse to ourselves we forget in this next hour or so. The 91st Psalm has ALWAYS been my most loved and prayed verse in the Bible! I feel uplifted, whenever I read it see it, feel overwhelmed or even drowning in life! I have a large print of it on the wall next to my bed. It is the first thing I see, and the first prayer I pray when I come home from work at 5am!

I watched one video of Pastor Joseph Prince in 2010 and I gave my life to the Lord. I had fallen since then but I have never lost faith. I love his preaching. He really helps put the Bible and the word into perspective
For the past three years I have been overshadowed by fear of bacteria that can enter the placenta and cause deformed fetus. These bacteria are invisible to the eyes and can be found in raw foods. Before starting a pregnancy program I have to do a test to find out if I was infected or not. and if I am infected, I have to postpone pregnancy. We lost our first baby in 2017, and already had a second baby in 2018, a restoration baby boy from The Lord. But my husband and I are still yearning for another baby. And every time this longing arises, I will remember this bacteria. I always worry when eating meat or eating outside the house. I have heard Pastor Prince preach many times about Psalm 91, but this time the verse that says "Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness," is like jumping at me and The Lord reminds me that I don't need to fear about this bacteria. Pastor also said about having to do this test and that test because of fear. God cares about the hidden things deep down in my heart. I have never even said to Him about the fear. Now I understand my position in Christ and I believe that I will never be infected by this bacteria or other viruses/bacterias in any way. I am truly blessed by this video. I got this confidence in the power of the cross. Post salvation life, I had sinned and I felt like I shouldn’t get close to God anymore. But this message spoke to me that sin does not need to hold me back but I can keep moving forward with God. Jesus paid for it once and for all. Wow.

For example, “I thank you Jesus for giving me the spirit of power instead of fear. I am an overcomer I have love and a sound mind. I can think clearly and in Jesus name no virus can come near me or my dwelling.” All the time you are making 2 Tim 1:7 a part of your spirit.

Thank you for the prayers and encouragement! It times like this that the coronavirus hit the tourism industry my wife's business went zero income for two months now. It really hard to pay our loans seeing our bouncing checks in penalty. It would be easy to quit in life but the words of God like a sword makes our lives more bearable and see His goodness come to pass soon.
My life fell apart after both my parents died but the lord had put my life back together Some days are better than others but the lord is so good so faithful and after many struggles I am full of Joy and feel so honoured go be called by Jesus I share my faith with everyone it has been a life changer I have seen and witnessed many miracles and know with a deep certainty that my redeemer lives I will pray for you Steve and your wife he will give you double for your troubles amen. The 91st Psalm has ALWAYS been my most loved and prayed verse in the Bible! I feel uplifted, whenever I read it see it, feel overwhelmed or even drowning in life!
I have a large print of it on the wall next to my bed. It is the first thing I see, and the first prayer I pray when I come home from work at 5am!

I love Psalms 91 we usually leave our bible open in the chapter 91 in the house believing God to protects us. I love to qoute them also in prayers...Praise God for this promise❤️❤️❤️
I do the same, leave the bible open on Psalms 91 also read it after praying the rosary at night. Printed out 100 copies to give away ,at my work place. for protection I gave them copies to take home to their families and friends to pray for protection from coronavirus as it's spreading. God bless 🙏
Well, I received a revolution today about Psalm 91 ….. he who sits in the secret place. Yep me too. I thought I had to earn that place. What a relief that has showered over me, listening to Pastor Prince’s explanation.

I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
For the past three years I have been overshadowed by fear of bacteria that can enter the placenta and cause deformed fetus.
These bacteria are invisible to the eyes and can be found in raw foods. Before starting a pregnancy program I have to do a test to find out if I was infected or not. and if I am infected, I have to postpone pregnancy.
We lost our first baby in 2017, and already had a second baby in 2018, a restoration baby boy from The Lord.
But my husband and I are still yearning for another baby. And every time this longing arises, I will remember this bacteria.
I always worry when eating meat or eating outside the house.
I have heard Pastor Prince preach many times about Psalm 91, but this time the verse that says "Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness," is like jumping at me and The Lord reminds me that I don't need to fear about this bacteria.
Pastor also said about having to do this test and that test because of fear.
God cares about the hidden things deep down in my heart. I have never even said to Him about the fear.
Now I understand my position in Christ and I believe that I will never be infected by this bacteria or other viruses/bacterias in any way.

I got this confidence in the power of the cross. Post salvation life, I had sinned and I felt like I shouldn’t get close to God anymore. But this message spoke to me that sin does not need to hold me back but I can keep moving forward with God. Jesus paid for it once and for all. Wow.

I believe I am protected at all times and I don’t need to be afraid because the Lord has not given me the spirit of fear. I take refuge in the shadow of the almighty where protection and peace that surpasses human understanding is sure
Thank you for the prayers and encouragement! It times like this that the coronavirus hit the tourism industry my wife's business went zero income for two months now. It really hard to pay our loans seeing our bouncing checks in penalty. It would be easy to quit in life but the words of God like a sword makes our lives more bearable and see His goodness come to pass soon.
My life fell apart after both my parents died but the lord had put my life back together Some days are better than others but the lord is so good so faithful and after many struggles I am full of Joy and feel so honoured go be called by Jesus I share my faith with everyone it has been a life changer I have seen and witnessed many miracles and know with a deep certainty that my redeemer lives I will pray for you Steve and your wife he will give you double for your troubles amen.
