I just bought last week and I am super happy for the result, worth the price and I dont eve wear any powder on top I just wear that foundation only with Vit C
Picked it up at Big W this week for $14, always wait for sales (so much for my no foundations in 2022). Max Factor are a bit more generous than L’Oreal with the Aussie shade ranges who usually give us 4-6 beige shades to choose from.
I tried the KVD good apple foundation last summer, wow I was a mess 5 minutes after applying and powdering. I didn't even go outside that day and it looked like my face was melting wax. I don't get the new obsession with balm foundation!! I have oily combo skin too.
I am super impressed. Looks very promising. I think I might pick it up. Also, I think as part of your foundation reviews moving forward, the feet to the face test is an absolute must LOL.
I like your reviews almost scientific. I'm old but with oily skin and I only use light powder foundations, but i watch these reviews anyway because there's always something to learn from you
I need to try this! My skin is so dry that it's always tight. I reapply moisturiser about 5-6 times a day in Winter. I live in Brisbane too, so that's WITH humidity.
They pulled most products from the Australian market but are coming back, so far I have only seen them at Priceline and Big W, but maybe they will come back to Target in the future too
If you were colour matched by a makeup artist, I find they always colour match darker. Aparently it photographs better darker, however I've never been colour matched (to my liking) by a makeup artist. It could by my oily skin, but if its a little darker, its a lot darker by the time my makeups finished because most oxodise on me. I prefer to match exactly or slightly lighter if there's not a great shade range to allow for that. I could see how very glowy this looks on you when applied but the finished makeup looked great. You might have better luck if you set this one with the Nikkia Joy powder.
I wasn’t matched by a makeup artist, just someone working for the brand. I like to match slightly lighter too (if they don’t have my exact match), because it is so much easier to bronze the base up and it works better if the foundation might oxidize. I do have the Nikkia Joy powder and it works in a very similar way to this MAC powder 😊
I've been wearing Lisa Eldridge's foundation for about 7 months and I love it but it's so expensive. Like you I have combination, redness-prone skin, and I need something which has a really good colour match as I'm really pale. The Lisa Eldridge foundation I have (no 5) is supposed to be neutral but seems very warm yellow / gold. Any tips for a real proper neutral cool colour foundation from anyone would be appreciated!
You can check the channel of Taylor Wynn, she has dedicated videos on foundations for pale skins, and her undertone is leaning toward cool so you might find good recommendations 🙂
I can definitely review that in the future when I use up some powder foundations! I have recently bought some elf products to test out and I might turn that into a full face review if I like the few items I have bought! From past experience with layering powder foundations over liquid foundations, I find that it tends to look very caky and heavy and defeats the purpose of wearing a more natural coverage in the first place... less is more as you get older and you have more skin texture and lines haha
@@KitschSnitch That would be AMAZING! You're skilled, thorough, have the same skin type as me and live in the same country, so you're like, my ride or die reviewer. You're right about cakiness. I don't know much about base makeup but if I can use that powder as a one and done it will be much less intimidating and I could get into it.
and: I always prefer something that wear out a little bit faster but graciously instead of what I call "the Cinderella effect" where the product appear perfect for a lot o hour but when brakes down it's a total mess: what if, unfortunately, my day is not end yet? I'm 48, me and my makeup must ages in the same way, see the time pass but as better as possible, not be perfect till an expire date and become clown the second next
Another review is lovely. But what I love the most is how bright eyed you look. The eye makeup is amazing.
Loving these foundation reviews keep em coming
Cheers! I have one more to review!

Your videos are very authentic and realistic i like that. Nice foundation it seems, too dewy for my taste though✨

Love you Kat for such detailed reviews ❤️
Kat, what is on your nails!!! I love it 😍

They used to sell it in Target too, but I haven’t been in there for awhile. I live in Brisbane too and I HATE the humidity. 😁

I've clicked because I need a miracle over here lol Love youse xx
haha don't we all!

I have dry skin but I’m not sure I want my face that shiny 😂 but it might meld with my skin better since I’m dry.
You can powder it if you have dry skin 😊

Love your foundation reviews. Never heard of this one. Maybe it’s more popular in Australia.
It’s only new here, but I think it’s been out in the UK for a little while 😊
it is lovely and don't look like make up and that is very important
I miss Max Factor! I wore PanStik from my late teens until my early thirties. Then it was gone from the U.S…….forever!😔
Even though we do still have Max Factor, I am pretty sure they discontinued Panstik a long time ago now!
Could you please review the elf camo powder Foundation? It could be an affordable layering powder on top of this

What is the brush you applied powder with?
Wayne Goss 14 brush :)
❤️❤️❤️
Even with a normal-to-dry skin, the simple idea of a balmy foundation is so repellent to me! 😅☺️🙃
Same! It’s a good way to use to your powders!
No me gusto para nada. No tiene cobertura y transfiere.
