Katt Williams found out my late wife and I missed his show in Atlanta bc she went into labor while we were on the plane to go see it. We named our son “Atticus Katt Simmons” and made a little post on twitter about it. Someone in Katts team (I assume) saw it and told him, he then reached out and paid for us to come see him on his next tour in Vegas and the plane ticket and hotel along with having the door guy stop us and bring us back stage to meet him for a moment. He gushed over the picture of our son and congratulated me on becoming a father and gave me some of the most incredible advice I’ve ever gotten. About a year later my wife passed along with our daughter because of a drunk driver. Katt found out and sent me and her parents flowers and a check to help pay for the funeral. He’s the most amazing and solid people I’ve had the privilege to meet. I pray for his safety, but he’s got the most high on his side!

To be fair, it was a Roast. The whole point point of a Roast is to get your contemporaries to say the meanest s*** about you.
