Nog maar eens gekeken😍 Geweldig dat beeld waar Vizazi geïnteresseerd kijkt naar die grote gevulde mama-hand, waar Mambele met haar andere hand om de paar tellen een lekker sappig stukje groente uitneemt, naar haar mond brengt, en dan die hand weer laat zakken. Zo "simpel", menselijk en fascinerend tegelijk. En V'tje had ook bijna een stuk wortel te pakken! 😊

Ze zijn als ze 8jaar oud zijn miss niet meer zo schattig maar zeker wel charmant en het karakter blijft. Het is ook mooi om te zien hoe ze opgroeien 🥰. Bedankt voor de leuke reactie!
The tumbs will probably not change. It's just less pigmentation. There is another baby gorilla on my channel that I follow who has a pink finger, Damsi from Artis. He is almost two years old now and also stil has it. And I've seen more grown up gorilla's who have it ;). Thanks for watching!
Lieke, I'm sure you've answered these. Are the white spots on Visas unusual? Ive rarely see this. I assume she will always have the white spots ? And will the troop be bothered by the spots ? Ty!
Is it about the white/pink spots on her hands and feet? She just has less pigmentation on these spots. Under her feet it will probably go away but her hands and fingers will probably stay this way. There are more gorilla's who have that, and it doesn't bother them and it's not painful ;).
Vizazi looks like she's not getting enough milk or her mother's milk is not good. Shes very thin and she's 3 or 4 months old now and is smaller than she was last month. Maybe the keepers could give mom treats while they try to encourage Vizazi to take a bottle. Other Zoos have done this successfully.
Vizazi is doing fine, no worries ;). She drinks often with mom and doesn't eat veggies yet, she is just nibbling on them. A bottle is the very last thing they do in zoos, when they see the mom is really not feeding well or not at all. Because a bottle makes it in many ways complicated ;). But I do get you're worried. But I assure you, there is no problem.

Vizazi certainly appears active and healthy! Not all children are the same size at the same age. I suspect she gets weighed from time to time.
