I can confirm you can just hear a bit more noise. I did a FTP hard pipe with a K&N air filter drop in. Before and after sound is almost identical. You will hear a bit more engine noise once it’s done but not something you would actually want. In terms of power I would say up top feels like it has more pickup. From the boost gauge looks like the turbo is now keeping more boost up top. This and the K&N filter and Dinan Tuner is all I would do to a daily driver. You won’t want a loud exhaust on a mini, would just sound like a rice rocket. You want the power just less sound. I think the best part of the Mini is its refinements, make it loud and takes away from that. That’s just my opinion coming from a Evo 8, H22A Ek on nitrous both straight pipe.
Same engine. Would this fit on a BMW X3 M35i? Sent a note to Forge and waiting for them to confirm. I got the FTP but the Silicone coupler from airbox to pipe don’t fit. It’s too small.
Hi i have a 2015 3 door Mini Cooper f56 1.5L (b38 motor). Is it worth it that i do these type of mods or will i blow my engine? I'm a newbie in car mods! 😅
Why did you choose a Forge Intake Hardpipe then later install MMR Charge Pipes? Could have kept everything as MMR? Would be good to see a comparison on Forge vs MMR Intake Pipes :)
I wished I was able to get my hands on the MMR one, but sadly at the time of filming I wasn't able to get one. I will be switching the Forge one out in the future for the MMR one, but that's just because I really like the MMR quality and support.
The best and easiest would be to check out mmrshop.co.uk/collections/mini-f55-f56-f57-2014-2019 since you could use my discount and save a bunch of money. The only thing I would say is if you really want to have the turbo sounds at their loudest get the Eventuri intake system with an MMR hardpipe. Here is a link to the Eventuri system and if you use my discount code you'll save a bunch of money: www.outmotoring.com/eventuri-intake-hood-scoop-carbon-fiber-eve-f56-cf-int.html
I have a standerd 2016 mini clubman cooper s with mode selector sport/eco/standerd and in both standerd and sport get way more turbo flutter and blow off than this 🤔 not knocking yours it's just strange
Yes, but I wish I could go back and get the MMR hardpipe instead of the Forge Motorsports one. I just hadn't seen any other hardpipes when I was searching the web at the time. The MMR one is SUPER nice and well engineered.
@Matt Donatello Definitely not the same sound. It's similar but louder and you can definitely hear the diverter valve recirculating the air when you rev it up higher and let go of the throttle.
That was definitely a waste of money!! It sounds basically exactly the same!! You would of been better of with a universal cone air filter for about $30 😂😂😂
In b4 this becomes an undriveable 800+hp mini 😆
🤣🤣🤣 You already know 😅🤘🏼

i have a stock 2017 mini clubman any advice on what parts i should use?
@@zanelasich5925 get the Dinan Stage 1 tuner. Drop in k&n filter and your set.
its hard to tell if its louder. I have to hear it in person.

You won't blow the engine, as this is just an intake mod. No tuning or anything.
congrats it sounds just like any after market intake lol
Thanks! 🤣😂🤘🏼

Question will these fit on a non s?
Yes it will!
I have no mods done to my engine. What would you recommend? Which filter? Which hardpipe? What would sound the best for the turbo flutter

@@MichaelBertini thank you so much!
@@td13x36 You're welcome, bud! 🤘🏼😬
@@MichaelBertinibut didn’t you put on a forge hard piper or are you talking about a seperate hardpipe? You said mmr hardpipe.

Much, much better.
same sound both intakes
Really? Maybe it’s my fault for the sound quality not coming across in the video, but it definitely makes a difference in the sound. 😬

Lot's of turbo sounds. 😜

Why not send an extra tenner and fit a new air filter
